but in this case, the government didn't know what they were doing, Trump warned them 4 months ago about this, the dam was empty, and to think CA is located close to the ocean. The major, Gov and president don't know what they are doing.

I get the point in terms of people using any flimsy exclude to shit on their Country but the truth is our disaster response is abysmal and it did not start with the current President so don't take it as a jab to your patron.

the level of fires witnessed in California would exterminate hundreds of thousands if not millions if it happened in Nigeria.

Natural, when the bush is dry during their fall or other dry season and lightning ⚡️ it can begin a wild fire that’s why they used to spend millions in clearing their bushes and forests but because of “Wild life and habitat conservation” some states refused to clear theirs to also save money.
They also refused to take water from dam and rivers to fill up their water reservoirs and fire hydrants because they were “conserving a species of fish within that water body to increase the population of the fish and those fish aren’t even consumed by humans” and so when the fire started this time they didn’t have enough water to stop it. Or contain it to its barest minimum.

Flood and fire incidents happening in Nigeria is mostly cause by negligence and carelessness. Nigeria had never experienced natural disasters for decade because we might not survive it, ordinary the one that happen by carelessness we can't tamed it not to talk of natural disaster
