Gov Charles Soludo of Anambra state this Saturday placed a N 5 Million Bounty on any gunman found or identified by whistle blowers in the 179 Communities in the area.

Also Soludo has signed the Homeland Security Bill Into law known as Agunechemba which stipulates the use of maximum force to smoke out gunmen and criminals out of the bushes in Anambra state.

The Gov also revived the use of the 1980s popular Boys Oyeh! that was used to quell Onitsha Commercial city from the strong fangs of criminals noting that the situation in Anambra state needs every element is share brute force on confirmed gunmen and kidnappers in the state .

How will they know that the people caught are the right gunmen?

You know like how we put tyre necklace and pour petrol and light suspected thieves with fire on the street? That way. And we'd end up burning the person without their day in court.

I can just about see people accusing their enemy of gunmen for revenge and 5m.

This man seems to have ran out of ideas and is now playing to the gallery! What makes him think the bastards responsible for the mass murders are still in the state!? Or he thinks animals capable of such heinous crimes are known by a community and still feel comfortable enough to be walking about unperturbed and unafraid of being fingered!? Or maybe he thinks they’re in a camp in the forest swigging booze and planning their next mass murder!

I hope Soludo knows what he is doing? We all want peace and security, but neither comes with killing innocent people. The days of 'Boys Oyeh' are long gone. Anyone desperate can kill another, and parade the person as a gunman, for 5 million. The alleged gunman will be too dead to tell anyone he is innocent

Desperate situations need desperate measures. As much as I may not subscribe to jungle justice but it seems there is an intentional effort to destabilise Anambra through insecurity. So we as a people must adopt extra ordinary measures to put an end to this madness.
It was similar to security challenges of the 80's and along came boys Oyeh and the madness ended.Then not so quite long, we where faced with terrible security situation and then came the Bakassi boys and the rest is now history.
We must go the extra mile in our own ways to put an end to this madness.once the people can trust the established authorities,then they 'see
Something,they say something',and these vagabonds will be routed out.

What Soludo should do is install CCTV cameras everywhere in every part of Anambra, he should go full Big Brother mode.

Also make Anambra prisons hell on earth, then pass laws to arrest people on any proven relationship with any criminal, while offering a big reward for anyone who snitches on his criminal comrade.

Congo conducted a mass execution of hardened criminals last week...they promptly dispatched over 200 skull miners and armed robbers...now that is the way to do it...People especially the truth must relearn fear of government!
