Nazgul: Pea brain, is it only Nigerian owned companies that are in Nigeria? How many of the major companies in Nigeria are Nigeria owned. The question is whether or not people earn 1m in Nigeria monthly, and the answer is yes. Instead of you to change your myopic mindset, you are arguing blindly. 20 Likes 1 Share |

I did my national youth service in 2002. I completed the program in December 2002 in Taraba State. I served in state primary education board then. I got my first job in May 2003 and my starting salary was 15,000 naira only. Fast forward to July 2022, my salary was 1,013,000 naira net per month. I was on this salary up till December 2023 when I left Nigeria for Australia where I currently reside. How did I grow my salary from 15,000 in 2003 to over a million net per month in 2022? 1) Don't work for a company for too long. Working for a company for more than 5 years is a waste if time 2. Keep developing yourself. Extremely important. 3. Be good at what you do. 4. From the day you resume in a company, start planning when to quit. 5. Again, ensure you're good at what you do. I don't mean speaking big grammar with Queens English. I mean, understand the nitty gritty of your chosen career. 6. Whenever I negotiate salary, I always negotiate net. I don't negotiate gross. I leave your HR to determine that. They way I will answer your questions during interview specifying clearly what I will achieve within the first 6 months, will make you appoint me. 28 Likes 4 Shares |

Nazgul: See talk. lol. A banking officer with 7 years of experience will make about 1mn or more depending on the bank. A mid level lawyer at a top 10 law firm will make more than that. These are just examples from my personal experience. It will shock you how much money is floating around in sectors like Venture Capital/Private Equity, Consulting, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas and so on. 9 Likes |

If there were no one earning up to even 5m monthly you won’t see any exortic car on the road. I sent 50k to a man and he asked to refresh his kuda to confirm n while refreshing i saw over 29m inside. I would only leave such in my kuda if i already had like 100m in my main account. 6 Likes |
