No company in Nigeria can pay you such amount monthly unless your business is recording a tremendous amount of success or you're earning in USD.

That's the only way you can hit the 1m mark monthly.

Name the company that pays such. Nigerian owned company. Most of you guys on this site make claims you can't defend.

If you must know, most entry level jobs in Nigeria today range from between 150k-200k

To even earn 500k sef you'll have spent a considerable number of years and gained relevant experience.

Una go just de argue for nothing.

How many Nigerian owned companies have declared sustained profit in the last 3 years that they want to pay their staffs 1m and above?

Pea brain, is it only Nigerian owned companies that are in Nigeria? How many of the major companies in Nigeria are Nigeria owned.

The question is whether or not people earn 1m in Nigeria monthly, and the answer is yes.

Instead of you to change your myopic mindset, you are arguing blindly.

How un-informed can you be? That is pocket change, i am always surprised when people say there is no job.. When the answer is alot are not even ready to acquire a skill in tech. A particular company have been looking for 4 openings for over 1 year now .. Nobody...scuffs!

Children on Nairaland don dey lie again. Millionaire no dey this forum. Now, if I made such, how I’ll secure my income is by working. If I don’t work, I don’t eat. Does the cycle of employment have a new strategy?

I did my national youth service in 2002. I completed the program in December 2002 in Taraba State. I served in state primary education board then.

I got my first job in May 2003 and my starting salary was 15,000 naira only.

Fast forward to July 2022, my salary was 1,013,000 naira net per month. I was on this salary up till December 2023 when I left Nigeria for Australia where I currently reside.

How did I grow my salary from 15,000 in 2003 to over a million net per month in 2022?

1) Don't work for a company for too long. Working for a company for more than 5 years is a waste if time

2. Keep developing yourself. Extremely important.

3. Be good at what you do.

4. From the day you resume in a company, start planning when to quit.

5. Again, ensure you're good at what you do. I don't mean speaking big grammar with Queens English. I mean, understand the nitty gritty of your chosen career.

6. Whenever I negotiate salary, I always negotiate net. I don't negotiate gross. I leave your HR to determine that. They way I will answer your questions during interview specifying clearly what I will achieve within the first 6 months, will make you appoint me.

You don’t really know what is going on out there.

If you can’t see it, how can you aim for it?

Don't doubt there are people earning over 1m here. Even with Astropay's shitty exchange rate of $1475 - $1, A million naira is just around $678. For me, I earn mine from social media accounts selling and smart sports betting. I've seen people (although not Nigerians) making over $40k yearly just from selling social media accounts or doing smart betting. The major setback is that you are at the mercy of the greedy bookmakers, and rogue social media managements. I can make over 2m in 30 days, with a single 1xbet account, but will 1xbet allow me? The answer remains NO

Why won't 1xbet allow you to make such an amount?

And how will they accomplish that?

Is it by limiting the amount you can bet with?

See talk. lol. A banking officer with 7 years of experience will make about 1mn or more depending on the bank. A mid level lawyer at a top 10 law firm will make more than that. These are just examples from my personal experience. It will shock you how much money is floating around in sectors like Venture Capital/Private Equity, Consulting, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas and so on.

This shows that your level of exposure into the corporate world is still low and poor. You make that assertion based on what you know but it is actually wrong. Improve on yourself please and let go of poverty mentality.

Yet another braggat.

The question I asked is so simple that even a primary school student can easily answer it.

No one cares if you earn 100m a month. Just list Nigerian owned companies that pay their staffs 1m above. Simple as ABC. Una go de brag up and down.

Have you ever worked in the cooperate world before? To even see 500k there and collect sef na war. And you're here saying you know over 50 people earning over 1m.

Even for foreign companies, if you remove oil companies how many foreign companies can you point that pays up to 1m? Microsoft that even hit the 1m mark has left the country. How many are left. Huge companies like Twitter and Facebook don't have physical offices in Nigeria. So what are you saying?

If you can't name the companies, don't quote me.
guinness and etisalat Dey pay oooo. I being know guys wey dey pull 6 million per month

If there were no one earning up to even 5m monthly you won’t see any exortic car on the road. I sent 50k to a man and he asked to refresh his kuda to confirm n while refreshing i saw over 29m inside. I would only leave such in my kuda if i already had like 100m in my main account.

My guy and i were gisting and we ended up with figures, omo come see wetin people dey earn . He is in the know in his organization and he was quoting figures for me i shout, employees collecting 30 m naira per month not the CEO. I OFF

People dey collect ooooo but the problem is that the numbers of organization ready to dish out thise pay in Nigeria are very few.
Which company dey pay employee 30m? Oil company or Telcom? Because that's the only 2 that can pay anything close to that.
