I don't understand this list cos why would my school ekiti state university be in top 12 ? Well left there 2012 maybe just maybe alot have changed ... Cos that school back then no fit ever dey top 50 sef talk less of top 12... Well done to the state government then if this is true

No, it's not. The Times Higher Education is way more recognised than Webometrics. Just as the QS Ranking is more acknowledged than the other two. Then we've the Shanghai ARWU which is superior when it comes to scientific and technology programs. All have different methodologies. Although, I prefer the QS and ARWU because THEducation has turned its ranking to pure water versions.

I started my msc or mtech before my other colleagues, when I enrolled in futminna, I encouraged them to start as well, so I started like 3 months or 6 months ahead of them, two of them are now through with their masters in other Federal University, while I'm still waiting for futminna to set up external defense, we did internal defence 6 months ago.... 6 months ago oh, I don use over 3 yrs now if we are to minus d 8 months ASUU strike... I don't know about other schools but i know Ekiti State University can never be amongst the best universities, this is a school where lecturers won't come everyday due to the state of the economy which is understandable but they'll fail you if you miss one class. I mean they actually cut people's marks so they can fail even if they pass the exam.
