Roland17: lol..the future is bleak. the celtics caught a team that is yet to get it together. at this point, the cavs are still raw...they use talent rather than plays to get themselves out of holes. if you think isaiah thomas or evan turner are the future...lmao |

Okay it's official. Give Curry the MVP!!!!!! |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 2:32pm On Apr 24, 2015 |
birdman: Dude some of your comments sometimes question the depth of your knowledge about the game especially specific teams. The Celtics have a war chest of draft picks that even the sixers or the worst team in the NBA cant boast of, let me educate you here, hopefully you learn some. 2015 Draft Lottery 2 first round picks (both top 10) 3 second round picks 2016 Draft Lottery 3 First round picks(1 top 10) 4 Second round picks 2017 Draft Lottery 1 First round pick 1 Second round pick 2018 Draft Lottery 2 First round picks(1 top 10) 1 Second round pick James young, Marcus Smart, Sulinger, Bradley, K.Olynyk and Zeller are some very good players with potentials already with the team. A bulk of these picks are protected picks especially the top tens, others can be packaged in a deal to get one or two top free agent and of course the team has enough cap space and wealth to compete in the market if need be. So when I am talking about a bright future for the Celtics this is what I mean bro, not Isaiah Thomas or Evan Turner. #greenrunsdeep 1 Like 1 Share |

Lol who came up with such a weak name? The Pelicans. Da fuq? They blew a 17pt lead with 6 minutes left!! Looks like we are going to see a record number of sweeps this year. The way I see it only the Clippers vs Spurs series might go the distance 1 Like |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 2:52pm On Apr 24, 2015 |
A40: It was very saddening but you could feel the insecurity despite the lead, this is what happens when your best player is a rookie (post season), AD is the future of this league, he has had an awesome post season, Monty Williams was also disappointing, he could have slowed the game down in the fourth quarter, make sure the shot clock was exhausted when calling plays, I expected every play to end up with AD under the paint. So he could post Bogut and pick up some free throws or kick out when a double team came. There was no player to calm the nerves of the Pelicans and ask the team to relax and take their time in setting plays. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:04pm On Apr 24, 2015 |
Roland17:They rebounded poorly! You can't give your opponent that many second shots |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 7:39pm On Apr 24, 2015 |
A40: That also boils down to Monty Williams as he did not rotate his roaster to match the Warriors, he went small when the Warriors went small, hoping to match their pace during transition forgetting Green is also dominant under the rim. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 10:17pm On Apr 24, 2015 |
Roland17:Allowing 7 offensive rebounds in an entire game is an anomaly but in half a quarter is a disaster. You have no business winning a ball game with that type of display. I'd not hold Monty entirely responsible the players on the floor lacked effort |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 4:32am On Apr 25, 2015 |
rondo is a cancer, dang, my dallas lost out in the first round, certainly thought we would compete deep when the season first started, but after the traders, jameer, jae, wright and a first round pick everything went downhill. I have to say, danny ainge played cuban on that one. Rondo is a stat stuffer, but he has been exposed after those injury. You have no business being dominant with the ball in your hands if you shoot 40% from the free throw line. That is abnormal. Wth. Dude is an egoistical asshole. Did anyone watch the game today? dallas played better than they have played since after the rondo trade. I hated that trade and questioned it from the very beginning. Monta played his best ball also after the trade, even dirk somewhat, Aminu. I cant believe it. Dont think rondo would get another job anymore. You have no business being the PG if you shoot 40% free throw. He gets fouled and cant make his shot at all, or defenders back off him and defend other players and dare him to shoot which he never makes. Patrick Beverly is a better shooter than this dude. Unbelievable. I am pissed 1 Like |

Roland17: lol...ok now. so you guys will probably draft a future kevin mchale in 2016, a future larry bird in 2017 and a future bill russell in 2018. then rondo will return in 2019 and it will all be ok. you have the knowledge, but little understanding, so ill clue you in on a little secret...not only is the league the deepest its ever been, meaning stacking your team with lottery picks wont get you far, no team has been able to hold on to players with potential long enough to do anything with it. even durant, westbrook will likely follow harden out of okc. you might want to check out okc and bulls pre D rose before you start yapping at me. if anything, the lakers have a better shot of returning to old glory before the celtics...at least its a desirable location, fine women and NOT crappy weather among other things i know they didnt mention all this to you on whatever celtic fan site you got drunk from, but eh...they are homers, so it is easy to leave the brains behind and predict sunny futures. i am always happy to educate you |

Spurs though.... |
Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 6:41am On Apr 25, 2015 |
Donlittle: you cant blame Dallas for taking a chance with Rondo. Houston did the same thing with Josh Smith. Without him, we likely die in the second round. Same for Dallas. That deal is too tantalizing to pass up. I dont think Rondo is egotistical.. The standoffish exterior is a way to hid the fact that he cares. You should have seen him looking lost in the locker room after game 2. In other words, he still is basically a child. sometimes you make a deal and hit the jackpot, other times...well you just have to suck it up |
Re: The NBA Begins by Mynd44: 7:21am On Apr 25, 2015 |
So Tony Parker became the 7th on the all tike assist list. That's not new but Kobe was the previous player on 7th... Wait...Kobe has that much assists? Interesting |

Rockets Vs Mavs (3-0) Wizards Vs Raptors (3-0) Spurs Vs Clippers (2-1) |
Re: The NBA Begins by Decale: 8:45am On Apr 25, 2015 |
Donlittle: Cry me a river. Did you guys still win? If you're whining because you didn't win in Houston with Rondo even if he only played 9 mins in game 2, what then happened in Dallas without him? What did Harris and Felton play? Silly excuses |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:23pm On Apr 25, 2015 |
John Wall thoroughly outplaying Kyle Lowry. The Wizards look like they would sweep the Raptors. Though I had the Wizards winning this series I didn't expect a potential sweep. Maybe Paul Pierce was right when he said they didn't have 'it' lol the clown even said he doesn't want to go back through customs in Toronto and they have to sweep Kawhi Leonard! That guy reminds me of Thomas Mueller just his efficiency and it looks like even he doesn't know how good he can still be. The Spurs are looking good Donlittle:Lol nobody even guards Rondo so its impossible to space the floor. Cuban obviously went chasing waterfalls The absence of Parsons gives the Mavs no chance! But that doesn't change the fact that Rondo was the biggest disappointment and did nothing to help the team |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:25pm On Apr 25, 2015 |
birdman:Basically a child? At 29!! This is his 10th year in the league Decale:He was committing silly fouls and being an absolute liability that's why he played 9 minutes. How reckless can you be to commit 4 fouls in that little space of time? |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 1:51pm On Apr 25, 2015 |
birdman: Your ignorant comment just proved me right and erased any doubt about your fiticisious knowledge about the game of basketball, first off I don't need any website to help me out with insights about the celtics, I have been an ardent fan, a registered member of the Celtics and have been to numerous games, so I am not an arm chair fan of the Celtics or the NBA. How else is a team/ roaster built in the NBA? Every team has its mantra and procedure of building and the celtics are a renouwned team when it come to fishing talents from the draft. The war chest of draft picks is not held in anticipation of picking the greatest players, no, the idea with the Celtics is to get players that fit the system style of play, mould these players, trade some picks and get some free agents to gradually build a solid team that can compete for the City. The Celtics are not the Sixers who have held and gathered enough number one overall picks in the last 4 seasons, yet have the effrontery to tank during the season, that is why despite the numerous trades and the distractions that accompanied it we made the playoff's in the weaker conference..visit TD Gardens and the Banners would help you out bro. How did the Thunders come into limelight? Drafting KD altered the course of the franchise during the final days of the Sonics, if it ends today and Durant decides to leave the drafting was successful, cos they won so many games, filled the Chesepeake arena and made the NBA finals once with their best draft pick.. How about the Cavs? Was Kyrie a free agent when he was drafted? How long were the Cavs in the dull drums? LBJ home coming was an emotional decision but without Kyrie how much harder would it be? They had a point guard they could build a roaster around, How about the back court of the Wizards with John Wall and Bradley Beal? How did the Warriors become so prominent, did the drafting of the splash brothers change anything? Curry was drafted way back in 2009 from Davidson, he was injury plagued, he was also glass footed cos of his fragile ankle, but the management saw the potential if they could keep him healthy, they traded a certain Monta Ellis just to keep Curry, how about Klay? He was drafted in 2011 and together with Curry and first time head coach Steve Kerr have blown so many NBA stats out of the window, has it not been successful? So because the league is deep does that mean teams are not in need of fresher players and ideas to build around, does that imply the draft should be cancelled? by your irresponsible hypothesis the Celtics are doomed for life I guess and would never be reckoned with? And by extension the NBA has no future cos the league is saturated with players? And heck stick to basketball, I have no business talking about women on this thread when it is totally irrelevant and distracts the onions of the argument. Get your diapers off your face and argue with facts and stop making a nuisance of yourself. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 2:04pm On Apr 25, 2015 |
Decale: Honestly bro, you would be wasting your time trying to convince them other wise, Rondo was amongst the best in game one In fact by the numbers he was the best in that position, game 2 he was horrendous but played less than 10 mins, in game 3 he did not play, the Mavs lost all three games but always find a way to blame Rondo for their poor display and losses in the post seaso. I admire Mav fans, to be serious and honest, they religiously follow their team and despise losing games. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:10pm On Apr 25, 2015 |
Rondo needed 16 shots to score 15 points. That is not efficiency. He played less than 10 minutes. Why did that happen? Ok we agree Rondo is not at fault. Please tell us what Rondo did to help the team that pretty much mortgaged its future for him? |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 5:43pm On Apr 25, 2015 |
A40: Bro, I don't want you construing my argument, Rondo has been very poor with the Mavs I must admit, in fact his last 2 seasons with the Celtics were questionable but so many issues factored in, his torn ACL has obviously slowed him down too but the Mavs have been horrible, regular season play was not encouraging either ways, the players have not shown up, injury has also not been kind to the roaster but heaping all of it on Rondo who the coach obviously despises is not a fair argument. The kid joined the team after the All Star, he had sat down for virtually 2 years injured, it was a new team already dealing with aging stars, an injury ravaged roaster and a shallow bench struggling with chemistry and consistency. let the argument be fair about the performance of the Mavs. |
Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 5:58pm On Apr 25, 2015 |
Roland17: i only read the last line. you are insulting me because of Celtics and my refusal to anoint Rondo? sigh... i no get your time...to each his own |

Mynd44: I dont know that Spurs did anything different in game 3. Clips just couldnt seem to get into it. CP3 is going to have to ball come sunday otherwise series is done |
Re: The NBA Begins by Mynd44: 6:09pm On Apr 25, 2015 |
birdman:Those early drive ins by Parker and Leonard stepping up on both offense and defence also helped. But it is very difficult for visiting teams to win in SA |

Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 6:14pm On Apr 25, 2015 |
birdman:Clippers will win the next game. It so glaring that they are still suffering from the devastating loss of the 1st game. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Mynd44: 6:16pm On Apr 25, 2015 |
birdman:This is when Clippers will regret losing game 2. Spurs will just keep hounding then playing the same old fundamental and "boring"basketball which works. And they need to watch the blowouts. When Spurs notice they can have a blow out. That's it |
Re: The NBA Begins by Mynd44: 6:18pm On Apr 25, 2015 |
SIRcumalot:Bro, Clippers won the 1st game Na. Spurs just have too many players who can ask questions and that defence is something else 1 Like |
Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 6:28pm On Apr 25, 2015 |
Mynd44:I meant to say the 2nd game. Its hard to bounce back from losing like that. Which is why the last game wasn't that competitive. For the next one they have something to prove. The clippers aren't exactly scrubs their offense is elite and they have candidate for DPOY in Deandre. |

birdman: You have suddenly become sanctimonious, oblivious of your earlier comments. Well, you might want to read your comments and teach your self to argue with facts without making smart comments that belittle the intelligence of others, I learn a lot from reading comments, I take my time to read them and understand the writers side of the story, learn some and argue those I refute if it is worth it, when I am wrong, I don't fail to accept. Do yourself some good to read my rebuttals to you, you might learn some so you don't argue blindly next time.
