Nash looked terrible |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:20pm On Oct 31, 2012 |
Lol maybe a nigga spoke too soon lol. Really though it would be interesting to see how quickly the new look Lakers grasp Mike Brown's "Princeton" offense. They also need better contributions from their roleplayers! Guys like Blake,Duhon,Jamison and Metta World Peace have to step up! We would see how they bounce back against the Blazers tonight Amare out for six weeks to two months. Looking like another addition to the Knicks Hall of Busts |
Re: The NBA Begins by r231(m): 3:36pm On Oct 31, 2012 |
A-40: yea yea congrats your Mavs got one without Dirk |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:49pm On Oct 31, 2012 |
The Princeton offense which Mick Brown is trying to run would not be effective with the Lakers cos it takes the ball away from Steve Nash, the style usually leaves the PG to high up in the court, Nash does not have pace to defend if there is a turnover when the Princeton offense is being run, i hope he reconsiders this option. As for the Mavs, i was impressed by Rookie Crowder and Darren Collison, if the Matrix (S. Marion) can return to 20 and 10 like he did 2 seasons ago that would make them stronger, but overall its still early days, i still believe the Mavs would struggle. My team showed poise to make a comeback in the 4th quarter, i expect the Defense to improve as the season progresses, i am still very optimistic, Sulinger and J. Green have to play better. |

Really this Laker team can only function optimally if they let Nash be Nash plus they have to find a way to play some help defense when Nash is facing younger more athletic PG's guys like Paul,Parker,Collison,Rondo,Williams,Rubio,Chalmers,Lin,Rose,Irving,Lawson,Wall shyte I've listed almost all the PG's in the league would probably torch him one on one all night Roland17:Lol I don't think Shawn Marion ever did 20 nd 10 with the Mavs over any consistent period of time! Dude is like 33 or 34 I would take 12 and 8 a night from him at this point. This team has glimpses of the 10-11 season littered with players with a point to prove. If we can get double digits every night from Collison,Beaubois,Mayo,Carter,Brand,Kaman,Nowitzki every night we would be tough to beat |

Tony Parker and Tim Duncan were off the chainz |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:18pm On Nov 01, 2012 |
The Lakers are now 0-2 and what's worse Steve Nash has injured his knee Shoutout to the Mavs was always going to be difficult to win back to back road games in Utah and LA James Harden made a huge statement in his debut for the Rockets 37 pts 12 assists! Goodness! |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:24pm On Nov 01, 2012 |
I know it was against the Pistons, but dang!!! Harden was smoking hoooooottttt, i consider their back court (Lin, Harden) average owing to turnovers they concede during possession, i am just glad to see Harden start games, i think he deserves his paycheck, i guess the thunders did not want Durant to feel threatened by paying harden $80 million while he's receiving $85 million. I have followed A. Davies from his rookie year in college with Kentucky and this kid is going to be really Big for the NBA, i think a lot of guys are overlooking the Spurs, but like i always say, its to their detriment if they do that, spurs would challenge LA and OKC for the west, i think they would defeat the Lakers if they meet in the WC.finals. Mike brown is so adamant with this stupid Princeton offense, its obvious it would not work and they need a quality Back up point guard cos Nash at 39 would not play all 82 games, i doubt if he can go play 40 games, Dwight did better and i think he would get better. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 9:20pm On Nov 01, 2012 |
I dunno about the Spurs still think they would just fall about short. The darkhorses for me are the Clippers if Blake Griffin has been working on his post-game plus the Clips are arguably the deepest team in the West. Lob-City won't work every night Knicks vs Nets postponed due to the Hurricane! Thunder vs Spurs should be interesting |
Re: The NBA Begins by Mynd44: 9:24pm On Nov 01, 2012 |
A-40:Dude the Spurs only fall short in the playoffs. Kicking OKC's backside is gonna be sweet revenge. I have already bought valu-bread so I can toast during the game |
