Doesn't GEJ realize that the damn Boko Haram are becoming more brazen in their dastardly acts every day. The right thing he should do is to find ways of nipping the problem in the bud before it grows into something bigger. It will be wrong for him to expect that the problem will just fizzle away. http://asewele-television..com/ |

GEJ or whatever his fans here call him will never know the pains until he loses a member of his family in the terrorist attacks. He had his Christmas dinner last night and probably still forked his Dame Patience while the bereaved families of the unfortunate victims are having sleepless nights and restless days of sorrows. Chidinma Maduka lost her parents and siblings and a father lost four children among several other victims of the Christmas Day massacre in Plateau and Niger states. |

You can read the following article on Boko Haram Movement And Its Deadly Impact by Barrister Bunmi V. Osin (Email: igbala1@yahoo.co.uk) published since April on http://nigeriantimes..com/2011/04/boko-haram-movement-and-its-deadly.html. The long report gave many details never reported in the news media and ignored by the government. |

Guys lets face it; It is easy to blame Jonathan because we believe he ought to have put drastic measures in place and i agree with that but the truth remains that these set of suicide bombers are hard to tackle. It is easy to arrest or fight someone who wants to protect his own life but how can you fight someone who is willing to sacrifice his life? Even America with all their intelligence fell pre to these set of demons from the pit of hell. From the records we can see that the main targets of these massacre is 90% non northerners so all i can say is for our brothers to come home and leave these people to kill themselves. Believe me, there will be more bombings as long as our yorubas and igbos brothers remain in the north. Lets wise up, the president has told us in Plain language that these killings will continue and we should be ready ti bear the burden of seing our beloved ones roasted like nammas. IF YOU HAVE ANY IGBO/YORUBA FAMILY MEMBERS PLEASE TELL THEM TO COME HOME FAST. A word is enough for the wise. |

I am just as surprised in the seemingly insensitivity of the remark. I am not sure he meant to be that insensitive. It just goes to show that GEJ is not a politician. But lets be frank, we seem to be equating GEJ speech with what we would expect from western countries. But he is not Obama or Sarkozy. I dont think anyone of you here sincerely think GEJ is not as hurtful as all other Nigerians seeing this horrible act. Having said that, I think boko haram is winning. Their intention is to make GEJ look bad. And that is exactly what we are doing here: taking one line from his entire statement and making it seem as if he appluads the killings is sensless and counter productive. The people we should be mad at are the Boko haram for spoiling a festive mood for Nigerians. GEJ is right (just should not have said it), we are going to have to live within the bombings for a while. Just look at Iraq with all the money and expertise poured into solving the problem and tell me it has worked. The man is just being realistic and trying prepare our minds for the carnage that uis about to follow. But that is not what the people want to hear. They want to hear that Boko haram will be destroyed before the end of the day and that there will never be a single bombing again. |

Its high time the C.A.N (Christain Association of Nigeria) do something about this bombing nonsesne. The Christains in the Bible fought for their rights and they fought their enemies to the end,so i don't see why the Christains in Nigeria are holding back and hoping for peace to fall down from Heaven. Fight just as King David fought and defeated the enemy, stop waiting for God to come down and fight the Boko Haram useless entities. CHRISTIANS THE EARLIER YOU START FIGHTING FOR YOUR RIGHTS,THE BETTER. OR YOU WILL CONTINUE DYING UNNECESSARILY SADLY! |

Look you guys have got to accept that this situation is now beyond GEJ - at least he is being up front with you people and telling you that you have to accept the burden and live with it. In other words he is preparing you for worse things to come, he knows who is behind this bombings but these forces are bigger and more powerful than him. He agreed to sell his soul to the devil because of greed and you guys voted him in despite hiis terrible track record as well as the terrible track record of PDP - why are you complaining now? You got what you voted for - as he said - you've got to live with the burden of him and every decision he makes, because he is not serving your interests, he is serving the interests of powers greater than himself and the entire nigerian populace put together, so unless you are ready to revolt to remove him and shape out your own destiny like other courageous peoples all over the world do, stop whining and learn to accept your fate. By the way this is just the beginning. |
Re: Bomb Blast: A Burden We Must Live With – Jonathan by Goldieluks: 1:37pm On Dec 26, 2011 |
Orikinla: This is the reason why Nigerians will never move on, they are so afraid to die while fighting for their right. If the so-called GEJ thinks this issue is out of his reach, then it is high time the FOOL seek international help. what nonsense, killing innocent people as if they are animals. |

Army establishes special squad to combat Boko Haram Written by Fidelis Soriwei and Jude Owuamanam The Nigerian Army has established a special squad to combat the menace of Boko Haram. Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Azubuike Ihejirika advertisement The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Azubuike Ihejirika, who spoke at a two-day security awareness workshop organised by the Nigerian army on Wednesday, said the suicide attacks carried out by Boko Haram had only indicated that the group did not have respect for human lives. Ihejirika said the Special Response Group would complement the efforts of the Joint Task Force and other security operatives in the battle to restore sanity in the society. Ihejirika, said the decision was informed by the need to boost the capacity of his men to handle the challenge of Boko Haram. Ihejirika noted that security operatives had encountered difficulty in protecting potential victims of terror attacks because of the nature of the operations of those behind such attacks. He said, “The unpredictable and random nature of terrorist acts makes it difficult for security forces to protect all potential victims and targets, since they are faceless and have an unlimited number of potential targets.” |

aikuda: i cant help myself but to quickly acknowledge this as one of the most sensible post i have seen on this thread, just see how they have ignored all the other things the man said, zerod in on one sentence simply to massage their perverted sensibilities, This is exactly how opposition push themselves into irrelevance because either the refuse to engage in constructive critisim or lack the capacity to do so. Imagin a forginer going thruogh what supposedly educated nigerians are commenting on the state of the nation and reading all the BS I am seing here, Idiots everywhere I look, |

Its saddening to hear such lame, halfassed and callous comment from a sitting president of a country in the face of such a big tragedy.I hope Boko Haram gets lucky of these days and blow his sorry ass to hell and free us from his ineptitude that is plunging the country slowly into hell. |

What GEJ really meant is quite clear. There is no need getting over sentimental about one sentence lifted out of context. Here is a fuller account: The president said that the acts of killing innocent Nigerians were unwarranted and condemnable. http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/world/2011-12/26/c_131328040.htm |

Beaf:What NLders are saying is that the statement is un-leaderlike and does not inspire confidence. Will you always explain the president's statement as something else, even when the man has spoken from his heart's abundance in his own honest way? |

"We have challenges as a nation; even this morning, a very ugly incident happened in a Catholic Church. We are yet to get the number of deaths in the incident, the issue of bombing is one of the burdens we must live with. It will not last forever; I believe that it will surely be over," he said. This is what a President of 160m people have to say about killing his populace he swore to defend
|
Re: Bomb Blast: A Burden We Must Live With – Jonathan by Beaf: 3:24pm On Dec 26, 2011 |
gulfer: The President words were sound enough, but the words in that particular sentence were not the best, they sound even worse when taken out of context for mischief; however what he meant is clear and the fuller posts of his words that I made shows that. |
Re: Bomb Blast: A Burden We Must Live With – Jonathan by dayokanu(m): 3:30pm On Dec 26, 2011 |
Beaf: What the Retardeen said is simple and has echoed his opinion ever since this Boko Haram started "We shouldnt panic because terror activities happen all over the world" Now "the issue of bombing is one of the burdens we must live with. It will not last forever; I believe that it will surely be over," he said." His solution is simple for us to wait and endure it, When Boko haram tires, they would stop |
Re: Bomb Blast: A Burden We Must Live With – Jonathan by omanzo02: 3:34pm On Dec 26, 2011 |
Gej is simply breaking away from past statements of treat and gra gra, The best he could do for now is to condemn the act of boko haram in all totality, Since the northern are in support of their acts its a burden we have to live with till the other part of the country decide to break loose of the smear of boko haram and break rank with the north for good, |

It is very clear that there is no unity among fellow Nigerians , we celebrate Sala in this country and it was peaceful and Now is Christmas every were is under war. GEJ needs to be sincere that the Northerners are against him using religion as a vector to propagate their motive because No one is doing nothing to fish out these people involve either is their family relative or friends of kiln interest. This country is under attack GEJ should declare state of emergency to turn this trend around. We are in shame!!!!! |

Ha ha. This is what you get when you choose a dull incompetent man as president of your country. He is actually saying " there's nothing we can do about these bombings, hope it will stop someday". This guy wud make 9ja's worst presido ever. the only time Nigeria has experienced dis kinda bombings is during the Biafra war. |

This guy is a b.astar.d. I hope all you that voted for Jona are happy with this powerful gust of fresh air. First of all, if you voted for Jona don't open your dirty mouth here. When we told you to vote for people that will not take s.hit and do the job, you said ''ah, south south turn,'' ''luck will shine,'' ''we are voting Jona not PDP'' now you're all foaming at the mouth. Stupid electorate of I have no shoe politics. |
