The Anambra State Government, through the Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, has extended warm congratulations to Dr. Odogwu Emeka Odogwu and his team on their victory in the recently concluded Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Anambra Council elections. In a statement released on behalf of the state government, Dr. Mefor described the re-election of Dr. Odogwu as a reflection of his leadership qualities and unwavering dedication to the union. "As you begin your new term, I urge you to extend a hand of fellowship to all members, healing any wounds that may have arisen during the electioneering process. Unity and cohesion are essential for the council's growth and prosperity," Dr. Mefor stated. The Commissioner also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fostering a collaborative relationship with the NUJ, underscoring the importance of fair and independent reporting on government activities. "We look forward to continued collaboration and fair reporting of our activities.
