I honestly don't know where this violence is emanating from. Is it poverty that is increasing this aggression? Both man and women are guilty of domestic violence. If two cannot agree, is it not better to seperate? May God help us in this perilous times. |

We4all:As traditions and cultural practices changes, violence against women change with it. But in my country, they want changes that will make women contribute both financially to the house while the status quo remains. The reason married women in Nigeria can go any depth to deal with an ungrateful and cheating spouse without being detected. When she strikes, she strike all around the man. When you cherish your wife and do the right thing by her, stories that touch will never arise. Also, the law in Nigeria don't care about women. Thanks to our interpretation of religious dogmas. |

FitCorper: I condemn the man's action. Self control is required from both gender. Much as physical harm is totally condemn, I suggest a verbal abuse to be condemned. Both are harmful to human. |

We4all:oga the logo of a good wife is respect. She should dish it out always. Even when dragged around, she wins by being gentle and respectful. A loquacious woman is liable to err. A submissive woman is charming and avoids black eyes and scars. I don't support violence at all but I'm talking based on experience and divine method of peaceful human coexistence. |

karkel: I don't know who raised the men who believes that they must "punish" a woman or their wives. The men are what?? Teachers? Principal?? Headmasters or policemen?? Punishment for what Wrong mentality is that my wife offends me, I must punish her by beating, maiming etc . Na jail you dey.... Trying to punish an adult who's probably even the breadwinner for the broke ass mofo. You can't see a busy and wealthy guy chopping off his wife's hand in anger.. it's the brokeass frustrated nigas who are under poverty spirits of their ancestors will resort to violence...Nonsense 🤥 |
