What if men should tell their own stories? My Take on Annie and 2Baba marriage Saga: They took May-Yul to Qatar to tell her story and they all went with napkins to clean her tears and show the world that she was the victim. Tonto Dike branded Churchill a two-minute man but the heavens did not fall. Tiwa Savage granted several interviews to make Teebills the villain and we accepted it. Chiwendu called Fani-Kayode an infertile man and we took it. Funke Akindele threw her man out of the house and we called her the heroine. 2Baba has not even said anything yet but they want to shut him down with emotional blackmail. If it were Annie that wanted to share her experience, my now NEDU WAZOBIA would have released episode 13, Instablog9ja would have released 20 clips, Daddy Freeze would have come on live; VDM would have set the ring light and both social media and the conventional media houses would have been awash with her narratives and no one would have cared to hear from 2baba Idibia. Who says a man cannot be the victim in marriage crises? I do not subscribe to divorce but we must accept the fact that a lot of men are dying in silence while the women always get sympathy. It's obvious that this marriage would have crashed about 3 years ago when 2baba's siblings were all of the social media claiming that Annie was toxic but 2Baba tamed the tide. I have watched interviews where Annie lamented how 2Baba had other children older than hers even when she was the first in his life and I shoved in bewilderment. That was obviously a pointer to a brewing storm and her unwillingness to accommodate 2baba's liabilities which would definitely not allow for peace in the home. She must have been stoking troubles over the control of the house. If anyone truly loves 2baba and Annie together then the best thing to do is to mediate between them and not try to bully the man into silence and submission. Most times we fall for the tears of the women while ignoring the painful growling of the man. Who says 2baba's mental health could not have been challenged too? Only the person who wears the shoes knows where it pinches him. 1 Like 1 Share

Men don't talk. Their silence is their power. And besides, Time tends to vindicate men as life goes on. 1 Like |
