This beef needs to be written about because people wondered why Obasanjo did not acknowledge MKO after he was freed from prison. He never recognized June 12 and depending on the side of history you are reading from, people think Obasanjo doesn't like you if he feels you are better than him. It's a surprise Tinubu got the presidency in his lifetime. I tell people that the change of national anthem is these our leaders using the country as a platform to settle scores because Tinubu changed the anthem that Obasanjo gave the country. Old men keep looking for what to spite themselves.


Obasanjo did not like MKO's closeness to the military, an institution he was a part of but I'm just looking at it as human beings in life. The race in life especially with our classmates and those we grew up with.

so because they went to the same school they must be friends for life Abiola was a shady man and obj has every right to hate him. Abiola was instrumental in awolowo losing in 1979. Then in 1983 Abiola financed the coup remember Obj handed power to the civilians.
