Actually, you can braid your hair. Please be warned that it's a time-consuming and potentially painful process that may not necesarily make you any more attractive than a clean cut and shave with a few curls. |

teju oso: YES OO. It'll make u omo-buruku, and you'll end up a garage boy. j/k Anyways, do wat u want, when u r okay with it, it'll take a just a while till people start being okay with you for being okay with it. |

You can braid your hair if you want to and if you are sure it suits you. There are guys who do it and look really cool and others you wonder if they have a mirror. Its not exactly accepted in the African society, but it depends on what you want.It is attributed to being irresponsible, but i suppose it needn't make you less responsible than guyz who cut their hair.So it depends on whether you give a damn about what people think or not. |

Re: I Can't Braid My Hair As A Boy, Why? by SvS(f): 8:42pm On May 14, 2006 |
Afeni:wat u mean by that!!!!!!!thats stereotyping and its not right. mean we live in the 21st century and everyone shud be allowed to do watever they want to do.so change ur views my dear. |
Re: I Can't Braid My Hair As A Boy, Why? by chinani(f): 6:41am On May 15, 2006 |
Afeni:Really? How so? I disagree. Hair styles are a personal choice and since people don't look the same in regards to features or head shape, we need different styles to flatter different people. It's the same way with women. Some women look good w/ short hair, others with long only. Some with weaves, others with natural hair only. Some look drop dead gorgeous with their hair braided, some only like "aight". @t-flow Try your best to do what's best for you. Be an individual and know who you are no matter what others say. Peace. It isn't easy. But you can achieve! I believe that. |

Re: I Can't Braid My Hair As A Boy, Why? by iice(f): 7:35pm On Jun 28, 2006 |
2fine4u: Shebi, Iverson rocks the look real well, as for me i like em wella, whatever looks good on the guy is fine by me, low cut, shaved head, braids, dreads but NO NOs to weaves, thats the limit. If u think u'd look good with braided hair then go for it, after you can always change hair styles |

Mystique: u don't av to be a megastar to have the look u want! Evry1 deserves the right to look gorgeous!! joeblaze: not necessarily. Only if it doesn't suit u. Sum head shapes aint made for braids lol DaHitler: I can't beleive sum1 said this. Sum girls actually find guys wit braided hair more attractive. I do!!!!!!! U can do, whateva u want. Just make sure it's going to suit u! U myt be beta of without braids, u'll neva know. If u eventuall get it done, pls take care of it. Cos its looks awful on sum guys - like they've lost their map to hairdressers!! |
Re: I Can't Braid My Hair As A Boy, Why? by cedarfresh(m): 5:45am On Jan 03, 2008 |
Joeblaze if braiding for a guy makes him look gay,i guess all the male fashonistas, sports celebs and movie buffs around would be caught on The Montreal gay pride professing their new found sexuality. For dick's sake, why must you sound obsolete? |

Re: I Can't Braid My Hair As A Boy, Why? by Anabel(f): 1:48pm On Sep 30, 2009 |

Re: I Can't Braid My Hair As A Boy, Why? by WhyAWhy(m): 11:54am On Dec 17, 2009 |
It's is true the last time I checked it was and is still a free world. Men + Braiding = sooner or later : Men + Mascara, Men + female enlargement, Men + Wearing Undies and a whole lot of stuffs would not be SO BAD as we think. what is this world turning too? Personally I hate to c braids on a man but again, this is a personal opinion and I know this is not enough to change a made-up mind |
