Despite the recent public disagreement between Ademola Lookman and Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini, the plan remains for the forward to leave the club this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Romano reports that Atalanta will attempt to address the situation with Gasperini in the next 24 hours following his strong criticism of Lookman.

However, this internal discussion will not alter the club's existing plans to facilitate Lookman's transfer.

The intention to sell Lookman was already in place last summer, with the transfer expected to materialize this year.

The recent incident and subsequent fallout, while creating headlines, appear unlikely to change Atalanta's stance on the player's future.

This news suggests that Lookman's time at Atalanta is coming to an end, regardless of the current tensions.

Good one. Atalanta can just go to hell. The boy has been instrumental to their success but just a single mistake, dem carry the whole blame put for him head - person wey enter match 2nd half and still score your only goal..

Make Chelsea just buy this guy. Him pairing with Cole Palmer go sharpen Chelsea attacks well..

But Currently, the most useless club owners on earth are Chelsea owners. Fans despise them like mad..

I don't know why Italian Clubs are fond of it that, just one mistake out of a million good deeds, and they will use it against you as if they have been waiting for you to commit the error. Same thing Napoli fans did to Osimhien.

One thing I have learnt about Italians generally is that MOST of them (young or old) are psychopaths. Skoin-skoin dey their heads. I would have said all of them are weyrey; the only exception I have seen in the whole of Italy is Carlo Ancelotti, coach of Real Madrid.

The coach goofed though. Lookman should better follow through with that exit, Italians are anyhow people o.
That was how Oshimen signed another contract and became miserable afterwards.

Lookman was brought in after half time and down by 3 goals to nothing. Scored a goal and just because of a penalty miss the coach singled him out for criticism.
Not good.
Atalanta is the most unfortunate not to qualify in round of 16 as they were top 8th up to their 7th matches on the table.

The current Chelsea will not even bid for him. Coach o, owners o, they all just mumu. Like, they believe in Jackson as a top striker and if anything, they can surprisingly buy Darwin Nunez to compete with him as the top striker grin

Nigerians hoping to play professional football should be wary of doing so in Italy.

Its obvious no matter what you do, they won't appreciate you.

Lukman did not take the penalty by himself. He was asked to take it by his teammate who was to take the penalty

Osimhen was a precedent

Shows Italy isn't really good for an African star that wants to shine cos they don't allow any star outshine their white players

Its racism. They expect blacks to be below par and if you are not below par, you need to put in twice the work, just to be considered equals with your white counterparts

Since he's leaving Atalanta soon, no qualms. He is a very focused player and I am sure he will break records elsewhere.

Maybe they can focus on having all white teams in Italy, nobody cares.
