I thought the church said that it is God that chooses the president and that is why he wants us to obey the president? Yes or no?

Yes, churches may say such a thing because there are bible verses to support it, but that is for kings as mentioned in the bible, not necessarily presidents, though there is nothing that happens without God's knowledge.

Albeit, we are not in the era of kingship, neither are we in ancient Israel. Call out your government if they fail to perform, it's a democracy. Nobody can tell you not to hold your government accountable. They are the ones collecting taxes from everyone and they have a duty, shikena!

So the bible has nothing to do with the presidency of any country?

Go and ask your pastor or check the Bible yourself. I have simply told you what I know and I can't say more than that.

If you want to keep blaming the Church for Tinubu, you're free... Bye.

So because they are not part of the thread, does that make them not part of Nigeria's problems?

You like asking funny questions bro, I'm tired of you.

I believe you know the pastor or clergy who said Peter Obi was ordained by God, so why not look for his social media page and direct the question to him? Why do you assume I have answers to your questions?

You have the answers because you are claiming that the church has nothing to do with the Nigerian government. Can you explain Romans 13:1?

Ok, they have everything to do with the government. Go and hold them responsible.

Where did Jesus say exactly all this to anyone?

John 3:16-18

3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Are you saying that the church cannot solve all the problems listed above?

The Church can if the Nation allows the church to

So who are the nations in this context?

Can you show me where Lord and Personal saviour is in the above?
