In all seriousness, what this means is that flee from from what leads you to sin (not by cutting off your eye/hand), as it is better to make heaven with one eye in holiness than to make hell with both eyes (showing the gravity of sin)

Yes! Now the next sensible question out of you should be can your right eye in fact cause you to sin? If yes, how? If not, what can?

Note that Jesus said "if your right eye"

We all know that to see clearly we make use of both eyes but how can one eye cause us to sin?
Literally an eye (one side) can only cause a distraction when we are supposed to focus on something of more value a side eye may distract us making it difficult to focus using the two eyes.
So Jesus is saying we should become blind to deadly distractions in order to focus properly on what is of more importance!
