Kickkick: Things are generally expensive. Thrice as expensive than it was before. If you own a car and a family with 2 kids, it's possible you exhaust 500k in a week. Majority of funds end on fuel for car and kids wellbeing. The best thing you can do is draft a way you always end on 100,000 you wouldn't touch. 35 Likes 3 Shares |

Yeah, 500k is still a big money in Nigeria. Many Nigerians do not earn 500k per month. The fact is that inflation is affecting your money. Try to cut your coat according to your size. 27 Likes 2 Shares |

Using Petrol price as a guide, 500k is just 110k The amount of petrol that 110k can get you before Tinubu take over is what 500k will get you now. Inflation and float of naira have spoil our money. 1litre = N187 500k will get you 2673Litres in 2023 to buy 2673 litres in 2025 you must have N2.3m 1litre= N860 500k will get you 581Litres in 2025, whereas 108k will get you 581litres in 2023. Therefore 500k is not a big money 37 Likes 4 Shares |

In all honesty, the answer to this question is relative. It is a big money to those who have never handled such an amount before and a 'chicken change' to those who have handled much more. But, when you now put the current inflation and the purchasing power parity in the country into perspective, that 'dough' isn't a biggie 29 Likes 1 Share |

Enter a low-cost supermarket with that money and you'll come out with few medium sized leather bags of provisions and body spray. A few years ago before the Vampires took over power, that amount of money will sustain a family of four very well with their upkeep. Since the first religious bigot took over, he began the dismemberment of the body called Nigeria. He skinned the country to a skeleton. The jihadist and nepotistic clueless fellow then handed over to a fake accountant and certificate forger. Another tribalistic bigoted and most clueless ruler Nigeria has ever had. This clueless fellow who doesn't even know how the wheel of government spins just made a singular comment that took the country 500 steps backwards. Today poverty, acute hunger and starvation is in every nook and crannies of the country staring on the faces of the citizens. 2027 seem like 20 decades. Hope we shall all live till then.
