You are spot on!!! GEJ is the reason why this escalated!!! He didn't deal with it decisively when it started!!! If he had dealt with it squarely when it started, many people who later joined wouldn't have dared to join. Just like the Ghanian government, dealt with them and threw everything they had to make sure they stamped it out in GH. Other countries like Togo, Benin and even Cameroon didn't allow them. But our successive leaders including BAT lack the political will to stamp it out.
Nigerian politicians are self centred, they don't care about the lives lost to kidnappers. How can a government value kidnappers life more than legitimate citizens life. Nigerians need to protest about these incessant kidnappers and force these selfish governors to act

The three policemen that "escaped" need to be arrested. They provided Intel to the kidnappers

The incident occurred on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at around 7 pm, when Chief Obasi Lawson’s SUV was ambushed, resulting in the death of his driver, Mr Anayo Ukwu, and his Special Assistant, Mazi Confidence Chijioke, who were with him. Meanwhile, the three policemen with them escaped,” the statement read.
