Suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has taken her case against the Nigerian Senate and Senate President Godswill Akpabio to the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) at the United Nations in New York. Speaking at the Women in Parliament Session during the IPU meeting, the Kogi Central lawmaker demanded justice over her suspension. She called on global democratic institutions to intervene, claiming her removal from the National Assembly was unjust and a form of retaliation against her.
