I felt disturbed today as I read lots of comments on nairaland and discovered that almost everyone here thought Tinubu is the first president to have declared state of emergency in Nigeria. I mean when were these guys born? Obj did it twice not once. The president quoted the exact section in our constitution that empowered him to declare a state of emergency in his speech yet some kids are saying he can't do that. It's not out of place, in such situations, for the president to act. Did u even think we are operating a federal structure of government?

If you truly hate godfatherism then you should love real democracy where the governor must be properly checked by the state HOA.
