Anem... And we have a saying im my place(Ibibio)... "Umu dia gha anem, dia no inem aying ado."(Don't know if my written Ibibio is good) ![]() The saying means..."Even if you don't eat Anem, eat it because of it's name. " The Irony of the whole thing is that, "Anem" means something that's sweet. And we all know that this yam is usually bitter.
