It was after he closed the border which jacked up the price of foreign rice that people started taking to local rice. The majority of local rice then were being bagged haphazardly and stony. The few standard Nigerian Mills couldn't even meet demand then.

What I'm pointing out to you is that there's basically three types of rice predominant in Nigerian market today. Foreign Thai parboiled rice, branded local rice and then the local resellers or baggers.

The difference between the three above is very wide in terms of their quality as well as price. You will know all these if you were living in Nigeria but you're not which is why your online support is mostly misguided and borne out of ignorance

I did not accuse you of hate, I am just supporting the government that I believe in. If I like, I support them from Nepal, if I have the means, I support them from Indonesia, or in my home city Ibadan. I frequent Nigeria well well and still coming this year again.

But what I insist on is that the generation of Nigerians who believed in Nigeria like Awolowo, Azikiwe, Enahoro, Mcauley did not stay holed up in the UK and claim to be asking for Nigeria's independence for example. They left the UK and US to come back home and demand self-governance and independence.

Same with folks in the 70s up till the 80s when Nigeria experienced economic downturn and the educated class began migrating massively away from the country in search of greener pastures.

So what you're doing is not new. There have been millions before and after you who have migrated in search of a better life because they do not believe Nigeria holds the promise of a better future for them.

So what I'm pointing out to you is that if you so believe in Tinubu, the right thing is to come back home and contribute to the success of his govt by setting up shop in the economy.

To sit in another man's land and claim you believe in Tinubu is just empty noise. Tinubu did not do well with the 77k wage. Other govts before him start paying corpers their new wages almost immediately after wage review. He took 6 months and an outburst from a Corp member to pay them. He's not even talking of arrears.

In real terms, he's paying less in terms of purchasing power than those before him. But you won't know and understand this reality because you're hiding in another man's land far immune from spaghetti that's climbed by over 400% in 4 years!
