Former minority leader and Senator representing Abia South Senatorial District, Enyinnaya Harcourt Abaribe (APGA) staged a walk-out of the Senate chambers as he saw his motion for the immortalisation of Professor Humphrey Nwosu over-ruled by Presiding Officer.

Senator Abaribe had tried to forward a motion to recognize the former Chairman of the National Electoral Commission, Professor Nwosu (now deceased) following his role in the 1993 Presidential election, adjudged Nigeria's best till date.

His arguments were countered by Majority Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele and despite Senator Yahaya Abubakar Abdullahi's (PDP - Kebbi North) public rebuke of the Presiding Officer (Barau Jubrin - Deputy Senate President), it was eventually over-ruled.

DSP Jubrin gave explanations in the rule book why the motion could not be sustained.

Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe is the most efficient senator in Nigeria today. Always bringing up issues that are both beneficial to his constituents and notions that will give the country a better image and value.

God bless you Sir for speaking against tyranny. Evil thrives when good men keep quiet.

Lol. Abaribe has been in the Senate since 2007, that is for the past 18years. His only achievement in politics have been staging walkouts, defending Lamidi Kanu, fooling people about marginalization, and impeachment twice as deputy governor and almost a third time in 2003. As he was facing his third impeachment, he resigned on 7 March 2003, sending his resignation via DHL so as to have written record of it. The House of Assembly formally voted him out of office several days later, in a move Abaribe called "medicine after death". These are the kind of useless people that would come out for national positions like that lambarian and be hailed by tribally deceived minds.
Of all the important thing s in the country, his aim in life now is to immortalize a dead man Nwosu, SMH.

Why do many Nigerians throw tantrums if things don't go their way.

You raised a motion, but was overruled in accordance with the Senate rules. Then you huffed, puffed and walked out

A senior Senator for that matter.

It goes some way to explain why the Nigerian society is so turbulent.

Lack of self awareness and over inflated sense of self is pervasive.

I do hope these Senators won't pull the whole structure down one day, a very senior senator like Abaribe should by now know that In political environment, you negotiate and not force your way through.
A very good motion was mismanaged

The way a man who claimed to be a freedom fighter yesteryears has pocketed whole Naija ehn.
ANYBODY FOLLOWING SENATE PROCEEDINGS WOULD HAVE KNOWN, TYRANT IN THE ROCK POSITIONED BAMIDELE THERE AS DEFACTO PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE.( the way the Dele used to do gragra as if they own Nigeria is worrisome.)

For national assembly and judiciary! Tyrant dictates and orders whatever he wishes for them and they must obey.

The Natasha saga opens the kinds of slavery members going through in national assembly.
