We want to apologise to the sponsors of the bills, but this action is to enable the House to have a further debate considering the importance of the subject matters, the Presiding Officer - DSP Kalu

The House of representatives has rescinded decision on the second reading of the bill seeking to strip vice-president, governors and deputy governors of immunity.

The lower legislative chamber took the decision after Julius Ihonvbere, majority leader of the house, moved a motion on Thursday.

The green chamber also rescinded decision on the bill to abolish death penalty.

Both bills passed second reading during plenary on Wednesday.

Those governors have already threatened the house of rep members grin

I knew they are not going to pass that bill because those governors really like that immunity and it's makes them to do anyhow.
The governors are the problem of this country but they always blame the president for their failure angry
