And you are saying they are hunters
So a hunter traveled all the way from Kano to pH to hunt?

As far as the constitution is concerned, they have every right to travel and hunt.

We can't all be barbarians...it's just unfortunate that the leaders seem inept.

If they had licenses for those weapons and they were declared, this won't happen.

If government had handled the kidnapping issues, this won't happen.

People are on edge quite alright cos someone said..."you dey talk like this because you neva experience kidnapping"

The government just needs to do their job instead of all these witchhunts and distractions.

His oath does not involve stopping people from doing useless stuffs. Even God cannot stop people doing stuffs like this.

USA till tomorrow still never stop mass shooting with their sophisticated tech. You can only ensure you reduce it to the minimum and ensure justice is served when such happen.

1. They should have left the guns behind. How did they even carry then across in the first place.
2. Knowing the underlying tension in the country they shouldn't have been carrying weapons on the express.
Sad.

There are a lot of festivities in the North around Sallah, where local hunters fire their guns into the skies during these celebrations. They do it around the Emirs palace as well. Its being happening for over 100 years.

Till date, no case was instituted against the christian murderers of Harirah Jubril, a pregnant Muslim woman, and her 4 children killed in Ezira, Anambra state. Not a single arrest was reported on the matter.

Again, 16 Muslims have been killed by Christian mob in Edo state.

Every adherent of Islam condemns jungle justice, the murder of Deborah Samuel Yakubu and every other person killed extrajudicially irrespective of their faith, tribe, or affiliation.

Where as jungle justice is bad, but same people carrying about guns all over the country and being pampered, do turn against the people unleashing mayhem whenever they feel like.

And the authorities are not helping matters as they seem untouchable.

This type of thing wouldn't have happened if we are all equal and treated same.

Instead of you to condemn the animals behind this attrocities, you're shouting Tinubu up and down as if he will leave Abuja and man every nooks and crannies of Nigeria. How could people who have blood running in their vein murder their fellow human? Does that make sense? This is what the Yoruba's will never do because we place value on human life except the useless ones involved in ritual killings. Yes, govt has its own responsibility to perform, how about the citizens involved in mass murder of their fellow human because they are not from their tribe.

Tinubu is the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. He is the one who swore an oath to protect every Nigerian life. He has the full weight of the police, the military, and intelligence agencies at his disposal. If lawlessness has reached the point where Nigerians are being publicly burned alive in broad daylight on federal roads, then Tinubu has failed in his primary duty.

Nobody is saying he personally killed anyone. But his inaction, his negligence, and his obsession with consolidating power instead of governing the country have created the perfect storm for these horrors. He removed a whole governor for oil pipelines, but when it comes to innocent lives, he does nothing.

This mob justice did not happen in a forest—it happened on a public road in a country that has a government, security agencies, and laws. Yet, the killers were bold enough to commit murder without fear of consequences. Why? Because the government has allowed impunity to thrive.

If Tinubu cannot guarantee security, then what is his purpose as President? If a mob can take justice into its own hands without fear of repercussions, then the Nigerian state has collapsed under his watch.

Tinubu is ultimately responsible because he has failed to enforce law and order, failed to deter crime, and failed to uphold his oath to protect Nigerian lives. If he cannot secure the streets, he has no business sitting in Aso Rock.

This is the result of Fulani herdsmen kidnapping and slaughtering people. I have said it many times that if the govt refused to do the needful, people will defend them selves.
What is the solution?
Simply ban open grazing and let private citizens purchase land in the states that wishes to sell to them, and rear their cows.

A mob, acting on the false accusation, launched a deadly attack, killing 16 travelers on the spot. Their vehicle was set on fire, with some of the bodies trapped inside. Others were reportedly dragged out and thrown into the flames.
Security operatives responded to a distress call but arrived too late to prevent the killings. However, four survivors were rescued and taken to His Grace Hospital in Uromi for medical care.

This is the only language these people understand.
You don't move around with weapons without permission from the state government or the people of the state.
You can't find any southerner in Hausa land moving around with weapons all in the name of hunter.
All their leaders are now coming out to condemn it but will never talk about the weapon side.
Some said it's just a dane gun. Let them shoot you the dane gun first or use the matchet on you and know if you will not be a dead man.

What happen to the police, these people where in a public transport.
They were not walking randomly on the road, there were not in the bush.
Northerners use guns in festive periods during sallah, its a common practice happening over 100 years.
All local hunters all over Nigeria have guns, regardless of tribe.
