His words, “We got information yesterday (Saturday evening) that youths in some areas are planning to launch reprisal attacks on non-indigenes after the Eid prayers. We are instructing them not to carry out such attacks.

“We appeal to them not to take laws into their hands. They should avoid a breakdown of law and order. We call on all traditional leaders to be vigilant.

“Similarly, we appeal to the relevant authorities to ensure justice for the victims. They should investigate and prosecute persons behind the barbaric act,” he said.

Sanusi also called on Muslim faithful to sustain the lessons learned from the Ramadan fasting and not return to sins or wrongdoings..

Fulani Bandits are killing northerners 10 times more than southerners in this country. But igbos and Niger Deltans will always put the blame on religion and tribalism.

Nigeria has a general security problem that needs to be tackled, not killing your fellow citizen whenever you feel like.

What concerns Igbo in matter? The northerners don't have mouth to cry out? Religion and tribalism has a high level of influence in the lives of people and the ignorant ones use it for their selfish purposes.
For example in the middle east, India, etc, religion is the main factor causing crises over there. Why will Nigeria own be different?
Except you are trying to take people's mind off the main issues?

Northerners were killed in Uromi in Edo State.

Uromi is a relatively interior part of Edo State with little population of non-indigenes living there.

But Igbo haters opened handles and started spinning narratives and propaganda that Igbo dwellers in Uromi were the ones that killed northerners in Kano.

Now, some low-brained people are planning to attack Igbos in the north.

You see how dangerous these haters are?

You see to what extent they can go to harm us?

But I know all this is because they are scared of the oncoming marriage of north and East to oust Tinubu in 2027.

But news flash, no amount of propaganda will stop that.

Ndi ala!

Oga blame some of our Igbo people that sworn not to have sense.

Why can't they limit their migration to Middle Belt and some part of North East?

Why would a reasonable person enter Sokoto, Katsina, Kano, Northern Kaduna, Northern Niger, Zamfara, Bauchi, Jigawa, Kebbi state to settle?

They don't care about their lifes, so losing it shouldn't be a big deal.

Edo people have nothing to lose because the number of all the Edo residing in North West as a whole may not be upto 1k

After lamenting how thousands of Igbos were killed in the North before and during 1966/67 they still went back there to settle. Are those men cursed or what?

Leave the Igbos out of your madness.

Nothing concern us for this matter.

I know that foolish agbadorians were wishing that this incident happened in the East so they could use their social media accounts to incite ethnic killings in the North.

For them, it's okay for the Fulani marauders to kill everyone, including their own people, as long as E-Bola is returned in 2027.

Do you know your constitution permits a Nigerian to live anywhere within the country?

Are Fulanis not in every nook and cranny of this country? The difference is that they good around kiilling, reapinng, destroying farm lands and taking people's land forcefully. You won't see the main problem but would always find a way to blame those to don't make trouble.

I really wish the Northern youths should mistakenly retaliate against the wrong ethnic group so this nonsense can escalate the separation of this country which is inevitable.

Good one,Ohaneze-Ndigbo should start sensitizing their people to limit their migration, especially to the northern part of the country because of its volatile insecurity situations.

They are easy targets for any reprisal attakcs by northerners

Igbo should be coming back home to develop their places, charity begins at home, the culture of always going outside should be jettisoned

This is good. To douse the tension and avoid further loss of lives and wanton carnage. I wish in the past and going forward leaders all over would adopt this template as a reaction to such barbarism whether Fulani or Tiv Jukun, or Aguleri Umuleri or what ever form of devilish misunderstanding that metamorphose into loss of human lives. I really commend Emir Sanusi for this. I pray such stops in this country so much loss of lives....sad
