Special Forces Troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA have intercepted terrorists attempting to plant Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) along a strategic route in Gando Forest, Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the troops, operating under Operation TSAFTA DAJI III Phase 3, launched an ambush when they encountered a group of terrorists laying IEDs.
On sighting the advancing troops, the terrorists fled into the forest under the cover of darkness, abandoning their explosives and equipment.

Recovered items include: One motorcycle, Three 25-litre jerrycans filled with IED components, 300 meters of sapper cable, one DET 33 electric detonator and one hoe used for planting explosives.
The Nigerian military has continued to maintain an aggressive posture against terrorists and criminal elements in Zamfara State, with Operation FANSAN YANMA and Operation TSAFTA DAJI III targeting bandit strongholds across Anka, Bagega, and Bukkuyum axis.

The belief that terrorists repented is a big joke.

The government should be serious and eliminate them once and for all. It is a pity that insecurity had become a business in Nigeria and the NA are using them to keep being active, because I see no reason why they couldn't be chased.

I remember when we thought it was only in the Northern part of Nigeria that they only valued the life of a cow to human, it has now become a breakfast.

The population of these terrorists is massive, when MNK was telling us we never believed. These terrorists were given leverage into Nigeria from Chad and Niger under the government of Muhammad Buhari.
Now they own the whole nation mostly the northern parts, these guys are everywhere, both east,west,south and North. They are everywhere and they're anti Islam.....there more than 10 clans in Islam....not all Islamic clans are jihadists.

Hmmm ....in the darkness of night they saw them planting IEDs ... ambushed them in the darkness ... but they all got away because I the darkness of night. They left their bikes and ran into the bushes. .... without gunshot wounds this time. Photos taken not in the darkness of night ...but under sunlight. Great job.
