In law, admission of evidence or otherwise can make you lose a case. This is why EFCC no de win all cases and in the abroad, the police take time to build evidence that cannot be thrown away by the defense counsel. I can't recall the exact details but I think in one of these election cases, a party submitted video evidence which the court did not admit. The law is an ass, this is why people go to law school. So yes, even when it is black and white, not all recording can be used.

As an employer you're required by law to inform your staff of the presence of cameras, even in public spaces you see signs indicating the presence of surveillance cameras. The EU even has tougher privacy laws than the US, except you're making reference to here in Nigeria where anything goes.

What's the purpose of secret cameras in the first place? Is it ok to inform a thief or a suspect that you have a camera to capture their illicit activities and even more for evidental purposes? By so doing, how would you uncover secret and probably bad activities in your absence?

Many of una no read the handbook or the employment contract you signed before taking up a job, the right to monitor company proeprties is almost always inserted in the terms and conditions. Whether it is manual or automated, you consented to it the minute you accepted the employment contract!

You don't need to inform anyone when cameras are in public spaces, you only inform people to prevent things like this.. its a company car and a company camera.
It wasn't in a toilet or dressing room, the driver will lose the case easily.
