You are a highly insensitive person. If the deceased were your brother, is this what you will say? May God forgive you.

I would have said same thing if he was my brother, why send messages to his mom instead of his manager or the Nigerian embassy in Ghana? If your life is being threatened in a foreign country the best thing for you to do is text your mother?

Is his manager not supposed to be by his side in Ghana? Why will he need to message his manager?
March fixing is real in Ghana 100%

His manager was not with him , his manager said the man couldn't fight in his weight class cause he was overweight instead of him to return to Nigeria he went and had a deal to fight out of his weight class for 500 dollars paycheck without informing his manager

Wimkeh:

So you think that he couldn’t have sent it to both of them and that it’s only his mum that is speaking out cause she carried him in her womb and therefore has more connection to him than the manager?

Useless ape

His manager said the man failed to meet his weight class he was overweight and his match was cancelled, instead of him to return to Nigeria he made a deal to fight out of his weight class for 500 dollars without informing his manager , boxers who fight for paychecks fight fix matches he was actually fighting a fixed match who will threaten a fixed match boxer?

Plus if indeed his life was threatened what will his mother do ? If your life is threatened in a foreign country the best thing to do is call your mother? Why not your embassy?

He should message his manager cause his manager is in a better position to help him than his mother at home who knows nothing about boxing, it's common sense

The $500 was the increase in payment for him to accept the fight.
It is not the initial payment
Oh! Do you know how much the initial payment was?

Why will u message a manager, who according to u was left behind? But u can message a mother for prayers in difficult position. Are u not contradicting yourself?

I will message my manager if i made a bad choice without him and my life is under threat no matter what he is in a better position to help me cause he knows the business, I will never message my mother in such a situation cause there is nothing she can do, prayer is just wishes , you can't pray yourself out of difficult situation you work your way out of it

What justice is she crying for when her son, out of greed, consent to a fight that he wasn't scheduled to appear for $500

It is not greed, Nigerian boxers don't fight regularly and they are underpaid. He had debts to pay back, he needed the money.

grin So what help are u anticipating from the manager via text? Who goes to a fight without a manager? Manager already told you not to take the fight, what else do you want the manager to tell u?
All in a bid to prove a fake point, see how ridiculous you are sounding?
Incase u don't know, when soldiers are in life and death situation in battle, the first person they call upon, is their mother.
U will see hardened men crying for their mother b4 they die. Its just instinctive.

Can you read what you wrote again so you can realize how stupid you sound?

You are comparing what happens in sport to war ? Which sports makes it legal for a man's life to be threatened to the point of life and death ?
If his life was threatened and he informed his manager, the Nigerian boxing board of control (NBBC) is there for his manager to report the case to, the Ghanian boxing authority (GBA)is there for his manager to report the case to , or even without his manager he himself could have reported the case to the authority himself, this is simple logical reasoning
To you the best thing to do is text your mother and cry oh mama I'm in a life and death situation, I'm behind enemy line with no way out, oh goodbye mama,we meet in heaven grin 40 yr old pathetic clown

Ok he is dead now is NBBC and GBA not working together to investigate what really happened? Shut up kid

Boxing is a dangerous sport. People die there.

If you notice, boxing no longer has the large number of black Americans it used to have. That's because 70 years or more ago, boxing was the only sport open to blacks to compete with whites. When other sports opened up, blacks went there. Better health insurance, regular salaries.

(Ken Norton was a boxer who fought Muhammad Ali and many others. He had a son, who was expected to be a boxer...instead the son chose american football. Regular salary, no living from purse to purse.).

I don’t know how boxing is categorized as a sport it’s like death sentence to me

grin Nonsense
What prove are u going to present to any control board that you were threatened? Were you forced to fight or what? What foolish threat are you then talking about afterwards? Its the manager that helps the fighters get a fight and also promote it for a fee. The manager told you to skip the secondary fight arrangement, yet you went without him to the fight. And now your FOOLISH argument is dat the fighter should have sent a mail to the manager to report a threat? Very daft.
War and sports are similar in dat people DIE in both.
And death premonitions are similar, whether in war, sports or shopping. If you ever SUDDENLY feel like calling your mum to report anything on security, then desist from any activity you have on schedule. Its a bad omen.
The sport bodies will not investigate threat. I figure they will check why the fight had no doctor on call, how a 40yr old got a fight license, whether the deceased had underling medical issues dat were ignored, whether he and his opponent were checked for PEDs etc. You have no right to say the mother lied by saying she got a text from the son. Its a verifiable claim. What are going to do if she shows the text?

The threat never happened that's my argument, I repeat lies to gain public sympathy, if there was a threat the 40 yr old man knows who and where to report to, I repeat it never happened

U don't know anything about boxing or human psychology. U just on NL running ur mouth unnecessarily.
contradicting yourself shamelessly, in order to sound knowledgeable. We've not even considered how absurd the $500 fight purse was. And the implication of the boxer's action, which was tantamount to trying to under compensate his own manager.
I guess, its as they say, on d day a man dies, he will do everything wrong!
So, i cannot reject enough all your flip-flop opinions,
Keep your jaundiced views to yourself, cos i strongly disagree with them.
Bye

Good, a man who took a 500$ fix match can not be threatened by anyone, he took the fight to lose for a paycheck anyways , if his life was truly threaten over a 500$ fixed match he could have simply withdraw from the match, or reported to the authority , I still stand by my words nobody threaten him , his mother just wants public sympathy with no evidence

Keep whatever you have to say to yourself let me keep mine, I didn't mention you in the first place

Bye
