Nigerians are really very funny people. Ordinary to build a befitting VP lodge in Abuja, the administration was attacked and insulted like Shettima will take the house away to Maiduguri after his tenure.

When Tinubu started the Eko Atlantic City and Lagos-Calabar coastal highway, Peter Obi and his supporters made it a daily routine to speak evil of the project. Now, same folks are here to praise Egypt for spending $58billion on a new capital city.

They like the massive buildings and infrastructure in other countries but they condemn same in Nigeria. Peter Obi the poster child of the hate filled opposition did not build a single classroom when he was governor for 8 years. There is no single legacy infrastructure to his name. In fact, Soludo just finished building the first general hospital in Onitsha this year. Yet, that kind of shallow mind is being projected as the messiah of Nigeria 🤣🤣🤣

do you mind them... headless crazy idiots

See what a government did in 7 years, but supporters of failure want us to praise ojuyobo for designing eko atlantic on paper some 18 years ago. grin grin

When Tinubu started the Eko Atlantic City

I challenge you to show us what Tinubu did in Eko Atlantic City in 8 years. grin grin

He started it on paper, and all he had to show for it was a desolate land with fanciful 2D design on paper for 8 years.

You can clearly see the difference between a project without corruption and one conceived to enrich politicians.

The Egyptian project is just 7 years old and there is more accomplishments there than Eko Atlantic that is over 20 years now.

Now that Tinubu has access to Federal Government money, he will use it to speed up the development of Eko Atlantic which is what the whole Lagos-Calabar road project is about.

At the end of the day, it's just a project to enrich the Tinubu family and friends
Its knowledge that you lack.

Egyptian capital is being undertaken by a Federal government of Egypt

EAC is a private project. They only need to reclaim the land, provide infrastructure and sell the land to developers like the USA government I talked about, first bank and many other private individuals which allowed for organic growth.

You can't compare it to a city where by the FG of that country will need to build secretariat, ministries, parastatals etc from the government pocket.
Nigerian government both national and subnational is contributing nothing to EAC.So stop comparing apple with orange because you want to mock your country and the government you love to hate

This is very future proof, the next Nigeria regime should have it in mind to build a futuristic business, technology, industrial and commercial capital for Nigeria by carving out parts of kogi and Edo state bordering river Niger where there's enough space, dredging it via the river niger down to the Atlantic Ocean, there is land very much unutilized around that axis, and build a hyper scale futuristic technology and commercial capital that will host next generation business hubs.

The people that will not eat the fruit of the land are the people who build cities that is mediocre/stupid, becasue .mediocrity doesn't bring reward.
Another people that won't eat the fruit are people who see a mediocre cities lying that it is not, liars don't get rewards.
Nigeria architects and engineers are dumb, honestly, their designs are wacky and tacky.
The moment you land from US or Europe, right from the plane, you will see it's home of stupidity. It looks dumb compare to oyinbo land. Honestly. No bad feelings but truth.

Try and get your facts right.
Be advised the former general hospital,Onitsha was converted to a Federal Medical Centre in the twilight of Buhari's administration.

Get your facts right before posting nonsense online or should I say, keep off drugs.

Disregard the hospital that was converted into a Federal Medical Centre—that's beside the point. The main argument is that Peter Obi doesn't have any single legacy infrastructure project attributed to him. Is this true? If not, could you provide examples of such projects?

Na enough Atlantic dey take dem decades to build...them no fit build becos na stolen funds dem get.

Egypt Administrative capital was built with loan with no economic value. It is built to protect the government from mass protest. Eko Atlantic is private investment driven and more sophisticated than Egypt administrative capital.

PO did lot more at his time stop saying what you don't know because of hate, that hospital was just first public hospital in that community (Fegge) but has lot of private hospitals. There are general hospital in Onitsha which PO upgraded to FMC. He as well renovated all the secondary schools in Anambra, equiped them with modern tools... computers, buses etc, as well as all the general and church owned hospitals, security, road infrastructure... build Onitsha 10 lane dual carriage way with flyovers etc. He was recognized as best performing governor during his time by many Nigerians. Do stop talking trash and spewing your ignorance in public space.

It is possible here in Nigeria, once you develop your steel technology and control your oil industry by refining your crude for domestic use and export, there is nothing you cannot do. It is very stupid building a coastal road on imported steel, so many moribund steel industries in diaspora are being revived by exporting steel to Nigeria. Too bad.

I don’t have the energy to argue and disprove all you’ve said but the part that he was recognized as the best performing governor in Nigeria during his time was a big lie. He was never the best governor in the south east during his time not to talk of Nigeria. In fact, he can’t even make the list of top 20 governors in Nigeria at any point in our history. We have so many threads about him as a failure during his time in office.

There's no tribalistic tribe as the Igbos! The northerners seldom involve themselves in the politics of other regions even if they are of immense population.

No Yoruba or Northern tribe can call for the killing of other tribes like Kanu did.

No leader of any tribe can do what that Lagos Igbo Igwe did calling IPOB to Lagos as a threat!

No coup can be like that of the Igbos of 1966!

In Egypt, they are judiciously spending less than 60 billion dollars for a whole new capital city....

Can you tell us the price of the two projects you mentioned? Just the two of them ONLY., pls.
