Dean Donny Huijsen Wijsmuller is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Premier League club Bournemouth. Born in the Netherlands, he plays for the Spain national team. Coming through the youth system, Huijsen made his senior debut for Juventus's reserve team Juventus Next Gen in January 2023. Dean Huijsen is a highly sought-after football prospect with a reported release clause of €60 million.

Clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool, and Real Madrid are actively pursuing him. Liverpool faces a transfer dilemma due to their interest and the potential impact on their squad, highlighting his significant market value. Clubs are preparing substantial bids, underscoring his status as a key target in the current transfer window.

The Reds and Blues are both circling for Bournemouth teenager Dean Huijsen, who is also being watched by Real Madrid, reports the Independent. The 19-year-old centre-back has a release clause of around £50 million (AU$103m) making him an ideal target for top clubs after a promising Premier League campaign. Both Chelsea and Liverpool are in the market for a centre-half with the Reds expected to move quickly should Virgil van Dijk not re-sign. Huijsen earned his first caps for Spain this year and spent last season in Serie A with Juventus and Roma.
