In Support Of Gej"s Fuel Subsidy Removal ? by visionsen(m): 8:29pm On Jan 05, 2012 |
l am 100% in support of removing subsidy in all petroleum products by the federal government of Nigeria, because the Nation cannot move forward if the status remains. (1)Subsidy is a monsters that must be tamed to enable us develop like other countries. (2)The time has come to stop the activities of Unscrupulous independent marketers, who has been enriching themselves for decades to the detriment of the suffering masses. Nigerians has to be informed to know that these so called independent marketers, import petroleum products and then sell at at 100 naira a litter outside Lagos and Abuja, then they turn to the F.G to collect subsidy, thereby making much money. How long shall we continue in this situation and who is fooling who ? The conditions given by N.L.C before subsidy removal is unacceptable because the money needed to build or resuscitate the infrastructures are not available because of the fuel subsidy . |

Though this subsidy removal will be hard for the common man but the truth is that if the Nation do nothing about the it now, it consequences will hunt us later. |
