The Minister of Works, David Umahi, on Tuesday arrived in Ebonyi State to flag off the highly anticipated Calabar-Ebonyi-Benue-Nasarawa Superhighway project.

In a post shared on Senator Engineer David Umahi verified Facebook page, Umahi expressed excitement over the groundbreaking initiative, describing it as a "game-changer" for Nigeria's infrastructure and regional connectivity.

“This project will open up the economic corridor of the South-East, South-South, and North-Central zones. It is not just a road; it is a lifeline,” Umahi said.

Local leaders, traditional rulers, and community members welcomed Umahi with jubilation, commending his efforts and the federal government's commitment to infrastructure development. The project is also expected to generate thousands of jobs during and after construction.

Umahi reassured the public of the government’s dedication to using quality materials and ensuring timely delivery. “We are not just building roads; we are building the future of our people,” he added.

Construction is set to commence immediately following the flag-off.

Tinubu sha want to use infrastructure to punch the mouths of the enemies of state, scatter all their teeth and then send them on long term injury. Big respect to Umahi, Baba just dey work round the clock like a horse. From Cross River to Akwa-ibom, back to Ebonyi in back to back to back roads flag offs. Baba, you deserve every award.

Me sef, I wonder o. I agree with you 100% , then how about you also stop walking on the road, entering vehicles and Okada because Fulani dey kill people. You may even stop using your phone or coming online just to show how much you care. Also add food to the list and stop eating food because terrorists are killing people. I will take you more seriously if you can put your whole life on stand still, shave your head and rub ashes on it just to show your are genuinely aggrieved about the sad situations. Una mind no go touch ground.

I love that Umahi is the minister of works at this time.

He understands the importance of infrastructure to national development and he will do justice to that portfolio.

Dave Umahi about to be one of the best minister of work ever. They should just complete all these projects by 2031 and a lot of new places will be opened up.

That is why they are now fueling insecurity.

See lamba king that was no longer having any state to visit because the only incidents that were happening were bandits being cleared out but since they started this their coalition, insecurity just suddenly started increasing again. <Lamba king's calendar is now getting fuel of locations to visit to the extent that Benue state had to turn him back

NSA has to really put touchligh on this their so called coalition.

Why is SW president or his family not travelling by road.Superhighway to death.
Ask the yeye minister if he travelled by road to that his state.
Then again people are hungry. They cannot even afford the transport fares because of poverty induced by TPAIN. You can go verify from idris kerrem

umahi who keep shouting concrete roads concrete roads because he saw some concrete roads in Germany not knowing the soil made up of those places,he thought concrete road is for every roads, engineer indeed ,anyways fake promises is good for nigeria politics,like Buhari's one naira to one dollars
