"We've heard Malcolm X talk and teach about the "House Negro" and the "Field Negro". Well welcome to modern day Africa and let me introduce you to the "Pet Negro"

The so called Negro that was owned by his master as a pet, as a tool, as a money making venture. The one that the master colonised, un-domesticated, un-tamed, cajoled. The one that the master built a home for, bought him toys and companionship. The one that fed off the master's plate, learnt the master's ways, looked up to the master and imitated the master. The one that even now that the master is away, still looks down the road, wanders the streets, has no sense of direction or responsibility nor organisation, watching the master's house and just out there looking and waiting for the master's return.

The Pet Negros thought they were never enslaved, but rather colonised, they thought they were never brutalised/lynched but loved and guided! Well, little did they know that being a pet, simply means being a loyal slave!

SHALL WE JUST TURN A BLIND EYE AT SUCH IN OUR HOMES, ON OUR LANDS?
