Why Are Nigerians Afraid Of The Security Forces? by Blackteeth(m): 12:37pm On Jan 09, 2012
Everyone knows that the obvious reason why so many Nigerians are scared of protesting is due to the easy discharge of bullet attitude of our security forces who are protecting our politacans and their crazy anti-people policies.
I thought the Nigerian security forces both army and police in active service combined sum up to about 500,000, and we are supposed to have about 25 million physically fit youths out of the civilian population of 150 million. If these 25 million capable youths decide to take up arms and hell bent on taking back the country from the selfish politacans, will the 500,000 security forces be able to stop them? The struggle will be over in just 2 days and the masses will have their country back and start afresh.

@OP

Nigerians are afraid of security forces in Nigeria because there are no expressed and functional laws that allow Nigerian populace (civilians) to bear arms, concealed or not. It is display of idiocy to insinuate the practice of democratic system of government when people do not have the right to bear arms.
