Go ahead and the shut the oil wells/production down already. No need to waste time. You have my blessing.
Re: Niger Delta Youths Threaten Shutdown Oil by Beaf: 10:16pm On Jan 11, 2012
LOL!

Can anybody imagine the soul in the ND that will be brave enough to shut down a single oil well? Maybe you guy's want don't have a clue what such traitors own kinsmen would do to them.

If Nigerians cannot see further than their noses that the subsidy removal is good, then let them continue demonstrating like lazy phucks who prefer awuf to a better future; at the end of the day, instead of Delta youths turning off the oil wells, we will split the country so people can demonstrate even better.

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS NOW? -By Ben Bruce

Let us remind ourselves the reason for this showdown. It is not about subsidy, I keep repeating this fact. It is about the following indices that make our government big, wasteful and ineffective:

Big and overblown governments at all levels

70 Ministers

Over twenty Special advisers (on what?)

Every minister is entitled to 4 Special Assistants.

Senate President earns 88 Million Naira monthly.

His Deputy Earns 55 Million Naira monthly.

Senators take home 14 Million Naira monthly.

It takes 1.4 Billion naira to maintain the NASS annually (Remember what Sanusi said about 25% of our GDP is used to feed people who only sit Tuesday – Thursday).

Our Governors exhibit such level of opulence shunned by the richest nations in the world

Our 2012 budget has a deficit component to it. We are supposed to borrow about 1.6 TRILLION NAIRA.

NASS will be paid from that! Aso Rock will use 1 Billion of it to eat! Aso Rock will use another 1 Billion to fuel generators.

The Vice President will use 58 Million Naira to buy newspapers.

The office of Patience Jonathan will use 500 Million to speak bad English to you.

We will spend close to 500 Billion on International Travels.

In 2012, some state governors will collect 100 Million as security votes MONTHLY.

They will continue to enjoy immunity clause!

Your hospitals will have no drugs.

Your schools will still have no quality to train a world class scholar

Your roads will still be death traps.

You will still be a local government unto yourself, providing water, security, power and social security!

You will still pay more for petroleum products.

You will pay toll in 2012 on federal interstate roads.

If you will like this to continue in 2012, then stay at home and enjoy power as provided by PHCN!

To strengthen this strike action, I am glad that NUPENG are about to join.
However, NLC will get more results if Boko Haram and Kidnappers join in the "war against subsidy"

How?

1.Let Boko haram do what it knows best(Bomblast & smoke) in the Abuja and everywhere these FG officials and President breathe.

2. Let Kidnappers kidnap Jonathans Mum(if she is alive), and other family members of the foolish PDP senators.
Then give the condition for their release as reversal or suspension of the removal of oil susbidy
You will all be surprised that within 24hrs Jonathan will yield to our request.

JONATHAN SHOULD HAVE LEARNT FROM WHAT HAPPENED TO LYBIAN AND EGYPTIAN LEADERS

Please , pass this message round to your neighbour if they are members of Boko-Haram or Kidnapping community

Why is it that we civilians do not see beyond our nose?? Why don't we give GEJ this opportunity and see what he has to offer?? For goodness sake we should stop criticizing and stop the protest against the removal of subsidy and divert this energy towards the cure of corruption in politics and implementation of these promises of the revenue generated from the subsidy removal.

Why is it that people like you keep telling us after every government to give them a chance.

Why do we have people that you that never learn from the past mistakes ?

Do we keep giving chances until we die ?

BREAKING NEWS!!! Inside Aso Rock Villa, FG to agree to revert to N65 but Removal of fuel subsidy takes effect March 1st,2012 @ N120 per litre. NLC/TUC negotiate for N90 and should commence by April 1st,2012. Now on RECESS, resumes back in 15mins. For the Nigerian people, Its a WIN WIN situation I strongly aim for, nothing more, nothing less! How about punishing the so called cabal, ? whether March or April, the people cannot be the sacrificial lamb for the sins of the thieving elites!!! What do U think? Still waiting for the official news anyway! (STILL TO BE OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED)

If it turns out to be true . .i should expect you to call me out and shame me appropriately . . .But, If you were current, you would have known that the broadcast you received was false . . .maybe the later date should be Sat as they planned . . .

Okay, what if this news is false, just like the debunked fake Ben Bruce broadcast you spammed nairaland with . . .Will you desist and accept you have being peddling undue false hood . . .

^^^

I hope you were able to see where i included that "it was yet to be made official"? so it can be changed if deadlock is arrived at again but you can't call it false since i didn't say it's official!

the ben bruce own was actually edited, he said some of what we have on the list, but people added more as the information spread, for him to say he didn't say what was shared on the internet does not mean some of them were not said by him. i still watched him mention some of these points while "reminding" the public on his stands so far so good on this subsidy issue, so do not throw away the baby with the bath water.

wait until you hear it officially before tagging anything to be false.
