Protesters from the Occupy Nigeria Group today set fire on the office of Governor Babangida Aliyu of Niger State, the offices of Tanko Beji, the state Vice Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) located in the Party’s Secretariat, the house of Senator Awaisu Kuta and other parts of the city of Minna.

According to saharareporters.com/ the reasons behind today’s rioting is given as the state’s Head of Service directive ordering workers to resume work or risk being sacked forthwith.
