No matter which angle perspective u choose to assess the present situation, the occupy Nigeria action has been a success.

Success in the sense that, we are united in our calls, more expositions were made, we stood up to the challenge and a message has been sent to the Fg that Nigerians will never agree to the dictates of a dictator of his advisers.

Now as at Last night (thursday 12/01/12) the position was that FG that first said its unwilling to shift position, shifted position first by offering to lower fuel price to N120/litre from N140.

When Labour insisted that their mandate is N65/litre or nothing, Vice President Nemadi Sambo said in the meeting that the FG cant go below N90/litre which Labour has reject pending their meeting with NLC/TUC nec for deliberations.

At this point, GEJ who was adamant prior to Now has shifted position when he saw one Nigeria and signs of revolution.

Do u think Abour should also shift position in order for us to move forward?

Fg also said that by 1st March 2012, the price would also rise from N90/ to N120/litre and before the end of 2012, the price would return to N140/litre. Thereby agreeing to phase subsidy removal as against removing subsidy at once

This is where we are as at last night.

What do u honestly think Labour and Nigerians should do in the circumstance?

Press on with our full demands? or back down to allow for more discussions?
