GEJ: A History Of Wrong & Reversed Decisions by canuck(m): 6:56pm On Jan 15, 2012
Feedback from NLC's Ag General Secretary, Owei Lakemfa, about Saturday's negotiation included worry by FG's reps that reversal to N65 will be bad for President Jonathan because "we are sovereign".

What?! Sovereign wetin?

In his short term as President, GEJ has been building up a history of wrong, knee-jack and poor decisions, for which he has been resisted and either reversed or proven wrong. Here are just three:

1) Two-year Ban of Super Eagles from International Matches
Outcome: Resisted by FIFA and Nigerians. GEJ reversed his decision, despite being “sovereign”

2) That MEND was Framed for the Oct 1, 2010 Bombing (Even After MEND Said “Na We Do Am!”)
Outcome: SSS discovered that bomb was rigged in PH, uncovered MEND’s involvement, arrested Okah’s brother in Nigeria, Okah arraigned in South Africa, etc GEJ was proven wrong, despite being “sovereign”.

3) Change Presidency to One Term of 6 Years
Outcome: Resisted by NASS and Nigerians. GEJ had to drop the proposal, despite being “sovereign”.

The Jan 1 fuel subsidy removal is just one of those wrong, knee-jack and poor decisions of GEJ. He is being resisted as usual. Question is – Will reverse himself as he has always done?
