like if you go to the politics section its fast paced and always moving. this section is practically desolate. do our naija people not love the Lord ?

The section goes through seasons . . . where the regulars hibernate for a while. I myself just got back. It always finds a way to spring into life at odd times. Just post interesting topics and quality posts will appear.

I suspect that part of the reason is that people here are not interested in an honest exchange of ideas. The arguments of others are not given consideration or even responded to. The usual technique is that when you're arguing with someone and they make a good point instead of addressing the point the Nairaland style is to run away and open another thread where you keep bashing out your original point without dealing with the counter argument that has been addressed to you.

The result of this is that there is no real exchange or communication. The entire forum becomes quite tedious and there isn't actually a conversation but something more akin to the babbling of pentecostalists who are all speaking in tongues at the top of their voices trying to out do each other. The protocols of logical reasoning are not even adhered to so checking NL become more akin to checking out a lunatic asylum. Or more accurately a lunatic asylum filled with pentecostals babbling in tongues at the top of their voices.
