The mastermind behind christmas day bombing in which many ibo lives, men, women and children, were lost was arrested last week. He had been tracked for many days before his arrest in Abuja couple of days ago. Report circulating the airwaves declared he had escaped police detention.

If this is indeed true, the souls of those lost will be in vain. Moreso, the souls of those living their legacy will also be in vain, if they fail to rise up and demand justice. SE owes it a duty in memory of Ojukwu's struggle for his people to bring justice to the victims. To this end, a protest to denounce this blatant insult will be in proper order. SE should not bear its cross alone, their brother and kin, SS should join with them in demanding justice and answer.
