1 Samuel 15: 22-23
… Hath the lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the lord,
This tells us of how King Saul disobeyed God and tried to offer sacrifices to God in disobedience.
1 Samuel 2:9
…and shall strength shall no man prevail…
What have you not done to succeed? You have gone through school, settled the things needed to be settled in life yet nothing forth coming. We need to stand out in Christ by living in obedience. We are doing everything in the name of the lord but no one wants to stand out in obedience. Obedience has to do with sacrifice. It is risky to obey. Obedience is submitting to another person’s will and nobody wants to submit to another person’s will. Stand out!
The bible says obedience is better than sacrifice.
God gave order in the garden not to eat of the fruit yet man failed to obey and chose to live in disobedience. What does God require from you this day? It is obedience to his word.
It is possible that you can succeed in disobedience. Saul succeeded in disobedience by going to war and not killing, i.e. destroying that entire city he was told to destroy.
Ephesians 2:1
And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins…
When you are disobedient, you are controlled by the prince and powers of the air according to Ephesians 2:2
When you are stubborn and rebellious, you are controlled by and influenced by evil spirit.
What is influencing you? We should stand to stand out against the works of evil and evil spirits. Hebrew 12:15
Looking diligently…lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you…
And that is why the bible says we should watch! It is sad to know that we are living and influenced with the spirit of disobedience. After we serve God and fast and pray, are we going to be acceptable before God? Think on these things!
What is the word of God, forgive everyone as I have forgiven you, do we forgive have we obeyed in this? It is not how many that are in the church but how many that is acceptable before God.
2 Timothy 3:5
Having the form of Godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Stand out brothers, stand out sisters. Stand to stand out because at that day, you will stand out before God. Nobody will be there to stand for you; you will stand alone, so stand alone here and declare your faith. Only people who are failing we join. You leave the people you are suppose to learn from and choose
NOTE: That you succeeded does not mean that God is with you!

Isaiah 1:19
If you obedient you will eat the fruit of the LAND.
Job 36:11
If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
Exodus 15: 26
…if you diligently hearken to the voice of the lord thy Go… I will put none of these diseases upon thee…
1 Peter 1:14
As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
1 Peter 4:17
…what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
Stand out to obey! This is the call.
Look at our homes, and churches, no control at all, filled with disobedience and rebelliousness.

Act 23:5
…thou shall not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.
Abraham was blessed by God because he lived in obedience. We can be like our father Abraham if we live in obedience. We should not be rejected by God because of disobedience.
