i dont think being a virgin is an issue.its just tht d guys cnt handle it. they want to sample the product. some guys here are saying they prefer non virgins cos of more satisfaction or whtever. its not like d marriage is jst the first night na. as time goes, she becomes a force in the act and the beginning becomes history. tht being said, not being a virgin is not equal to being a LovePeddler or whtever. |

U won't know how stressful it is 2 date a Virgin till u actually meet one. I had my share and I found the experienced girls more sporting than the virgins. I don't undastand, is it a crime 2be a virgin? @rokiatu obviously no one does that but most people place a bigger priority on virginity and can decide not to marry a girl on that reason. come on am that lame to say someone would marry without the other aspect. just saying to some people virginity has a bigger part in their decision. |

I think in Nigeria especially the north (Muslims) virginity is a big issue o (which is great). Unlike in Western cultures, it is not outdated here at all. It however depends on the individual, even though virginity till marriage is the ideal on moral and cultural grounds. It's best for one to remain a virgin till marriage as far as I am concerned, no statistics go dey my small head for comparisons in dat case and that will help my relationship bera and help me be more faithful too  |

Marrying a virgin is now a very outdated concept. Sexual compatibility is one of the things reasonable people check out before settling down to marry someone. Most people are unwilling to gamble with a virgin these days. Besides there is a whole lot to marriage than sex. |

@rokiatu Its near impossible to find people who are ready to wait untill marriage dis days, especially we the guys.  However a girl who gets married as a virgin will surely earn the respect of her husband and the respect will last. But I must also say, that it could be somewhat frustrating. Speaking from a friend's experience, its difficult to teach a woman all it is about. It will surely take time for her to learn how to please him. Guys love to get in bed with a woman who is experienced and brings something new to the action. It blows our minds. Hope that explains why some men dont even want to be married to virgins. |

I don't think it is at all an outdated concept! As far as i am concerned, i will prefer my wife to be a virgin, but its not a requirement. You just don't stop loving someone cause they are not virgins. And the blood on the first night will never scare me, i will clean her up myself once we are done and slap her and ask her who her daddy is! |

Definitely waiting until marriage is the best concept. You might be surprised to see someone in Nigeria using typewriter while a computer would have done the job perfectly. In this case typewriter is outdated while computer is the new era. Can the above be applied to waiting until married? No, I would say that it is like water back in beginning of the world and now and the future, what actually would you choose as a perfect and better substitute for water? The only substitute for water will still be H20. There is no better substitute than waiting till you are married. |
