While i was laughing, he reminded meof two incidents one of which happen in our( him and myself) presence in 1992 in Ibadan.

What a topic!! Most definitely some people (most especially africans) try to use charms during matches, we have seen these several times during nation cup matches, but whether this Juju works or not is another matter entirely. Like sombody commented, we (africa) ought to have won the world cup if it really works

One of my ex-roomate used to play for the Zimbabwean national team and he played a lot in the African Champions League and i told him "juju" doesn't work in soccer, he scoffed at my naivete and retorted that whenever they played against Shooting Stars Soccer Club (3SC) and Julius Berger that they used some serious juju against them. He said they had never seen anything like it before. I guess that's why he didn't like watching horror movies.
