This photo was taken as President Obama with his wife Michelle puts a call through to John Buchanan to inform him that his daughter Jessica has been rescued by US Special Operations Forces in Somalia. The hostage was rescue was done by the same US SEAL unit that carried out the killing of Osama bin Laden last May in Pakistan.
