What Happens At Death? by member67023: 7:21pm On Jan 28, 2012 |
What Happens at Death? We humans have a number of bodies: 1. Physical body, with its autonomic nervous system to keep your heart beating, manage your endocrine systems, and perform countless other vital functions. 2. Etheric body, which is the double of your physical body plus energy structures of meridians along which life force energy flows, and chakras, which are energy “junction boxes” and frequency transformers. 3. Emotional body, tied into the two bodies above, whereby your emotions influence hormonal mix in the moment. 4. Mental body, or conscious mind, that anchors into several points of the physical brain for thought, memory and sensory subsystems. 5. Spiritual body, or the fragment of your soul that is incarnating as “you.” This also contains your subconscious and superconscious minds, the latter also known as your higher self. At the moment of crossing over, bodies #2 – #5 unhook from body #1 and sever the links to it, so the physical body is then essentially meat, blood and bones, with no life force energy to sustain it so it begins to decay. (Except for severing the link, or silver cord, this happens every night during deep sleep and in the coma state.) The first thing you notice about what happens at death is that you’re standing beside or floating above your physical body looking down at it, surprised by how small and confining it looks. If you were in any pain, you notice it has ceased and you feel wonderful. If you were feeling tired, you are now completely energized. If you are catapulted into crossing over due to an accident or violence on the part of someone else, you instinctively leave your body so you do not feel any physical pain. It is rare that a soul fragment would choose to stick around to experience such unpleasantness. John Edward was once contacted by a crew member of the space shuttle Columbia, which burned up on re-entry into the atmosphere. Through John, the crewman reported that he and the other crew had already left their bodies and didn’t feel a thing. And people who are regressed to a lifetime when they were burned at the stake invariably say they left their body before the flames got to it, and watched from a distance before getting bored and moving on. You also note that you can see all around you, as if you have eyes in the back (and sides) of your head. This is psychic sight, and is unlimited compared to physical sight. Your hearing is similarly acute, and you may pick up thoughts of those around you. You find that your mind and memory are panoramic, in that you know and recall everything at once rather than linearly as when your mind was anchored into your brain. You are also aware of any visitors in the room, especially when they realize you’re not there anymore, at which point, they may begin the hysteria routine, while you stand among them trying to calm them down but, of course, you can’t. For this reason, many departees wait until all the visitors have gone for coffee or whatever. Of course, this makes the absent friends and relatives feel really guilty. So, to anyone who has ever been in this situation: Do not feel guilty. Your loved one was waiting patiently for you to leave so he or she could depart with the minimum of fuss. You maintaining a round-the-clock vigil was really cramping their style. (This also applies to our beloved pets.) Also, those who cross over want you to remember them alive, so they may prefer that you don’t witness the moment when they leave their body. Then you won’t have that image of them to remember for the rest of your life. Next, you are greeted by deceased relatives and spirit guides who are there to help you understand what’s going on. You may see a large white or multi-colored light, extremely bright colors in shades and hues that do not exist on the physical plane. It is a light brighter than you have ever seen, but has no specific source and doesn’t seem to hurt your vision. You also find yourself bathed with love, comfort and warmth, and feel safe, complete and totally free. You can even be in a hospital room looking down upon your body lying there, but feel no sense of the confinement of the room. Those who attend their own memorial service and wake will be in the room with loved ones but again have no sense of the confinement of a room, as those of us still in a three-dimensional world do. If you are soon to cross over, it’s important to remember: • Actually crossing over is not painful, and is often ecstatic. • Your visitations are real, and not the result of an oxygen-starved brain. • You cross over, not into oblivion, but to a beautiful, light-filled environment, to be met by your loved ones who are already there and quite fine. Thus there is nothing to fear. • Any deathbed visions you may have are real, and the people and places you see are real. http://www.deathwithoutfear.com/what-happens-at-death.htm |
