All in all. Piracy is illegal and i don't think any of us will be too happy if people were enjoying our hardwork for free. It was illegal when you were in Nigeria and it is still illegal in the uk with grave consequences. |

@HudsonBanks: Skype calls to Nigeria is even cheaper than Rebtel sir.. Someone should please check this out and tell me what I'm missing here...This deal from vectone seems to have it all for just 10quids p/m http://www.vectonemobile.co.uk/pay-as-you-go/offers/student-mobile-deals.aspx GeneralShepherd: All in all. Piracy is illegal and i don't think any of us will be too happy if people were enjoying our hardwork for free. Wait oooh,,, Lemme understand something, If I stream series online from sites like 'www.tubeplus.me' which is free and my favorite, that is piracy right? @All: The thing about this having WiFi in school and hostel, it's always nice to be able to still connect freely to the internet when you're on the go..away from both locations...hence the need for a plan with data is kinda necessary for me..but a plan with at least 2GB should be just fine...don't know about these internet content eaters we have here that are swallowing data with underground pipes (Didn't mention any names ooh) |

GeneralShepherd: Really? Like plenty? Never met any. It's either they r looking for a way to work it or a way to have u buy new one from them...the ones I've seen, that is. . I'm sure you are their "special customer" CarphoneWarehouse has replaced my blackberry 9800 three times since 2010 cos it seems to malfunction after a year, and they say Blackberry doesn't work on phones, they replace dem with brand new ones instead. So. When it develops it's skoin-skoin, I just take it der n after 7-10 w/days, I have my brand new phone with replacement accessories like screen protector which was in the other one, free of charge. Moreover, with other gadgets, you get free repairs n diagnosis within one year of ur purchase. Not many shops in Naija do so.. That's y i'll rather buy in UK Dan go to Naija to buy. My take sha. |

LabourParty: Please people don't try to configure VPN on the Uni's network without permission o. This thing might get you in big trouble. My fear exactly... Ok I give up. Re: Nigerian Students In The Uk How Do You Survive? by LabourParty(m): 12:00pm On Sep 14, 2014 |
kingsilly: I didn't pay for any setup, because I have a year contract with BT , so they arranged everything. I currently pay £41 a month, but you can get other services for cheaper prices sha. BT doesn't care what you do with the internet. You can download and configure anything you like on your Network/SOHO (Small office Home Office)

3sha4lyf: It's quite easy. It's either you buy a small wireless router or you setup hotspot on your PC. To setup hotspot, i would advise you download connectify, you pay for it though or you look for free ones. They're plenty online GeneralShepherd: You're confusing her the more justwise: That is for cmd on your PC not admin server |

kingsilly: Hahahahahahaha . Afraid catch me I no go lie. I don't think I'll be willing to shell out £30+/month for only dedicated broadband oo and I don't think Uni accommodation will even allow me install such hardware for that service. I go just jeje manage 3 UK all-you-can-eat mobile data Add-on. |

Re: Nigerian Students In The Uk How Do You Survive? by HudsonBanks(m): 8:41pm On Sep 14, 2014 |
kingsilly: Ehh all those plans no still cheap, for example you pay £14/month + £15.99 monthly line rental that's equals £29.99 except you share with flatmates which then splits the cost and makes it cheap. Me go manage mobile data as I dey Uni accommodation |
