Hello everyone am mrs oginni and am here to introduce or probably re-introduce to everyone herbal/alternative therapy as some people call it.now findings have revealed that a sizeable number of people have linked anything herbal or unorthodox medicines as some label it to all kinds of fetish things like black magic, jazz.so before I start introducing our products and services I'd like to see how nairalanders view herbal medications and treatment.I'll be waiting for ur views. |

I don't know about the "Black Magic" bit - that's based on unfounded superstition and ignorance as far as I'm concerned. What I do know is that a sizeable chunk of modern medicine has got its roots based on traditional and herbal medicines (refined through time) |

Well good point and am very glad some people know that a certain percent of the ingredients of some drugs are from herbs.and another thing I just noted is that someone on this forum posted her thought as seeing people who patronize herbal therapists as someone to be experimented on do we have others that share this view. |

You have no problem if your herbal products are genuine. Nairalanders are very enlightened people. As long as they are PURELY and 100% herbs/leaves alone without any 'divination' or 'incantation' involved, any child of God can use them with a very clear conscience. You need to see the number of enquiries that ensued recently about a certain 'iya alagbo' whose herbs helped a formerly childless couple in the US. For example also, jobelyn is a Nigerian herbal product that is widely accepted, stocked by practically every major & minor pharmacy and is recommeded even by orthodox doctors abroad! So sister, the more the merrier; bring it on! |
