I fisrt fell in love with whitney houston at a perfomance show that I watched on MTV, I think it was a grammy in around the time they released Bodyguard and I think the songs were "I will always love You" and "I have nothing" . . .mehn I was stunned by her very powerful voice and her ability to control her voice in a very skillful manner. You know, when she belts. . Mehn that ls when you get that Whitney sparkle, I think she was the one that made belting in pop music popular, that was her trademark signature. Today, we have Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson doing thesame thing, thanks to whitney.
By the way, I am yet to see any male fans of WH that knows about her songs and can sing them more than me. . Lol

I do remember the first time i watched the bodyguard though.

I fell in-love with Whitney's music thru my mom. She sings em a lot when I was growing up n still love whitney n her angelic voice. Then in late 90's my mom, myself and one of my big sister's went to one of her live concert in LA. Then bodyguard did a lot more + one her of super bowl national anthem lawd classic. RIP Whitney my niece name sake.

Must have been around the early 90's. . .around when The Bodyguard was released. I just couldn't get enough of her, and she has remained a part of my quiet moments ever since.
