Nature is becoming more and more disastrous due to global warming and our cities and structures are not built to withstand natural disasters. It is going to get worse.unless something drastic is done in terms of fortification. We have been spared of nature wraths for so long, only plagued with politicians wraths but not any more. And with the two, natural and man-made disasters combined, coastal cities like lagos stand no chance. Years ago rain use to fall for days nonstop in lagos without a single death but these days, just for 15minutes,scores dies. What does it tell u? U got be creative, tactical and resilient to live. The weak and stu.pid become extinct in a flash.

The storm that passed through the city of Lagos on Monday morning was just a child's play compare to the speed at which it passed through Madagascar some few hour before it got to Lagos, Nigeria. It was actually a CYCLONE and it traveled at a speed of over 190km/h that is almost 120mph. The speed reduced before it got to Lagos and it passed through Lagos in less than 10 - 15 minutes. We need to really thank God for His mercies. Because, if it had come at the initial speed with which it traveled through Madagascar, then, we would have been talking of more loss of lives and properties. God, we thank you.
