Outgoings have to be a 3/10. We should have moved Martial, Maguire, McTom and even Dalot out. We should learn to terminate contracts. Juventus are masters of it.


As for the incoming, Hojlund will do well in the long run. It's just a shame that he came in injured.

Mount is one I can't explain, only ETH can.

Reguillon has a lot of potential. ETH should be able to help him. With Wan-Bissaka who is defensively-minded on one side, we could do with a flying left wingback.

Amrabat is good but I fear that ETH was not keen on his signing thus he might attempt to force the midfield 3 of Casemiro - Mount - Bruno to work. I hope that's not the case.

Onana is a good buy except that I don't think that position was our most pressing concern when we went in for him. Left for me, I'd have kept De Gea and Henderson for one more season to fight for the number-one spot and use the money to sign a CB or a forward who can beat his man.

My 6/10 is for the overall window. Includes incoming and outgoing transfers.

I hope he brings the same passion he brought to his national team. His 'ball reading' should be able to cover for his speed too.

That's squad depth

Why can't we keep 60M player on the bench?

Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and even Arsenal have expensive signings on bench

And mount will come good, there are more than enough games where Bruno will need to get rest, in which Mount will get the playing chance

Here is how I think ETH will allocate time to them

Bruno - starts most EPL and UCL game, rest for first few matches of FA and Carabao cup

Mount - second half sub in both EPL and UCL to sustain intensity, then starts most of early FA and Carabao cup games

With Amrabat, Hojlund alone, I rate this window 8/10.

Who said ETH didn't give an okay to the deal. At this point, it's either that or nothing. That's totally different from the Ten Hag's list you're mentioning.

Are you saying Alonso was on ETH's list? If you're saying yes. That's there's no point in this argument.

Cucurella was who ETH wanted. Alonso and Reguilon were emergency backups. We left the Cucurella deal because we could get Reguilon till January unlike Cucurella that we had to keep till next summer.

My point is at the end we left the deal because of money not abilities.
